I am also having this issue. I made the API key, enabled the sandbox, but regardless of which connection type I select, it will not connect, even though I can confirm I can connect via the browser.

It seems there is a bug.. if you install the app fresh on ios26 the app is missing the local area networks permission.. but up to know i dont know why

image.pngCan please check if this is missing?

Yeah, it's there. Tried to toggle it too in case it was some setting that hadn't been set correctly.

EHI!

I can access the graphql page via the browser on the same device, used the click to copy to grab the api token, and tried every variant of the connection type, all say connection failed when I try to connect.

Hmm thats strange.. i dont have an android device..

I just got reported that its working fine.

Can you guys please check app settings if theres something to need to be enabled?

There's nothing to enable in the app settings. Can't even turn on notifications as it won't allow me to.

i pushed a new version to appstore and play store

can you please check if it makes things better? ;)

google playstore could take a bit longer.. they remove the app because of a naming conflict with an other app

Unable to grab the new one.

This is wrong.

Out 120,5V? (EU)

Can't find 120,5 anywhere in the "UPS Details" in the web gui.

Hi!

and thanks for the feedback.

this is not app releated, because the values comes from the api.

would be very cool if you could make a bugreport at @ https://github.com/unraid/api/issues :)

Was finally able to download the latest testing build from the play store but it has the same problem.

Scratch that, it must have been a missing permission because when I created an admin api key it works.

Hmm strange.. maybe an older key from an earlier api release.

But thats a good point for the connection issues readme.. check your api key permissions 😅😉

I already had an admin api key, but it still doesn't work. Will try to make a new one later tonight.

So I deleted the api key, made a new admin one, and still the same issue. One weird thing is if I disconnect from the Tailscale app on the phone and try to connect in the app, nothing happens, no failed connection message, no message at all, just nothing happens. If I connect to Tailscale again, I get connection failed.

  • S3ppo changed the title to Unraid Mobile App - unConnect

I haven't had any issues since getting it working, though the docker container list can be slow to load. That said, would it be possible to group/sort containers within the app? I have a few containers that can be a bit heavy on my network which can cause issues when I'm trying to game. In the actual web UI I have them grouped into a folder so I can shut all of them off at once. Would something like that be possible to add to a future update? (thanks for the work you've done getting the app this far, it's pretty nice)

Hmm yeah i understand your usecase.. thats a good idea.

I think at the moment its not possible in the unraid api to filter specific containers. I will keep that in mind once there are new features in the api 👍

  • 1 month later...

Should we use api key with admin role (all/full permissions) for app?
