Zip Manager for unRAID

Featured Replies

I think I'm being dumb. I've installed it, I see it in the plugin list, but how do I load it??

I'd love 2 buttons in the filemanager view (I think this was a plug in though!) to Compress (whatever is selected, folder or file(s)) and uncompress button enabled if a supported file selected, with a pop up to choose the options (location, format, compression factor etc.)

  • Agreed, I'm also unsure why Dynamix File Manager doesn't integrate compression and decompression into the web UI.

You'll have an Archiver and Extractor in Unraid Settings, it's not integrated into the file manager.

Thanks for the making the extractor. It's really handy. :)

Is it possible for the extractor to remember the directory I extracted from last? Or to set a default directory? I'm usually extracting multiple files from my downloads folder and right now I have to start at / every time.

Would it perhaps be an option to include the extension .tgz?

As far as I know, it's just a shorter version of .tar.gz, so I suppose it would work?

My Google Takeouts are .tgz-files, so logically many users would have these files as well.

Thanks for the great tool!

Is it possible to make this automatically look a a folder and then extract any zip files out into the output folder and it checks like every 5 hours or something like that?

Why it's marked as deprecated?

Would hazard a guess it's gonna become a built-in function of the file manager so no more needed...

Any alternative for Unraid?
