February 15Feb 15 Community Expert Do you have more than one browser or tab open to your server? What browser are you using?

February 15Feb 15 Author Just now, trurl said:Will it let you start the array if you set disk5 to "no device"?Yes. As soon as I set disk5 to "unassigned", the message at the bottom went from 'Array Stopped - stale configuration' to just 'Array Stopped' and it did let me start array.
February 15Feb 15 Community Expert Emulated disk5 still mountable. Interesting to see that it now has 1.5T more contents than it did with your first diagnostics, so apparently you have been writing to emulated disk5 during all this. Can you assign disk5 and start the array now?
February 15Feb 15 Community Expert Do you have a “yes I want to do this” checkbox opposite the Start button? If so you need to check that to be able to start the array.

I can stop array, and I can assign disk5.It is no longer showing 'stale config', just 'array stopped' at this step. But I cannot start.
February 15Feb 15 Author here are diagnostics from after clicking the 'start' button 3 times, but before rebooting, if it helps unraid-diagnostics5.zip

February 15Feb 15 Community Expert I guess it could be a plugin interfering.Boot in SAFE mode and see if you can start the array.
February 15Feb 15 Author Yes, rebooting in safe mode allowed me to start array with disk5 attached. It is currently doing a Data-RebuildI assume I should let the Data-Rebuild run until it is complete, yes?And then what should I do after this to 'get out' of safe mode and return to normal mode?
February 15Feb 15 Community Expert @itimpi The only plugin I saw that I thought might be involved is yours. Any ideas?

Docker and VM Manager have to both be disabled or system share files are open.Nothing can move open files, so those will have to be disabled before you can work with those.

February 18Feb 18 Author alright, rebuild is complete and ive rebooted so im no longer in safe mode.i am still having the issue where i can stop the array but not start the array.please let me know what steps i can take so we can resolve this. thanks!
February 18Feb 18 Community Expert You can remove some or all plugins, then reboot and retest. You can either uninstall them or rename the *.plg files in /boot/config/plugins to something else.
February 19Feb 19 Author Alright, the issue seems to be with Unassigned Devices. What should I do from here to fix this?

February 19Feb 19 Author 2 minutes ago, trurl said:Do you have diagnostics or logs that demonstrate that?I can attach diagnostics (see attached). But I'm not sure if they "demonstrate that" or not. What I can tell you is that I renamed the plugins following the advise here:5 hours ago, JorgeB said:You can remove some or all plugins, then reboot and retest.
