tower:8080

hello

Tower:8080 doesn't work anymore on my laptop (wifi)

Instead, it return a "dlinksearch" website......!!!???

Any ideas?

Thanks

tower is the default name of the install - did you change the hostname?  Or, can you connect to it by IP:8080?  i.e, 192.168.1.100:8080

I presume you're typing "//tower:8080"  ... not just "tower:8080"

Assuming that's the case, then if you're certain your server is on (i.e. you can access the main web gui with //tower), then reboot the laptop.    If that doesn't resolve it, then reboot the server -- UnMenu may have been shut down for some reason.  [You could also simply run /boot/unmenu/uu  from the UnRAID console or via Telnet to ensure UnMenu is active.]

This sounds like name resolution is not working and the router is intercepting the page request in order to provide you with advertising. This "feature" can and should be disabled in the router.

Well, it makes sense since my router is a Dlink DIR 655....Any idea where I should look into the router GUI?

Do you know how do I disable this in the DIR655 router?

unMenu has probably crashed. Try //tower by itself.
