EvilSpice
Hi, for reasons of convenience, i'm interested in accessing the web interface from the internet. is there a way to implement something like a two-factor authentication to make it more secure than merely a password? thanks, Ariel Link to comment
JonathanM
Put a reverse proxy server in place with whatever authentication you want. Or set up a VPN tunnel. As of the current release (6b10) there is no way to do what you want without setting up an additional webserver or proxy or other software to provide that front end. Unraid as shipped is not meant to be directly exposed to the internet. Link to comment

Helmonder
It probably is more easy to setup a vpn server within your network and connect to that from outside.. This will also make sure that you can reach all of your internal network after logging in and not only unraid... So even more joy... There are several good guides out there to tell you how to do it.. If you are using virtualisation I would advise to setup a different VM for the VPN server.. I also believe there are some unraid plugins out there doing something like this.. Link to comment
