ijuarez
does anyone run both? I like to try mb3 but I don't want cause any negative effect on my few TB of metadata and such for Plex. What I'm planning is to move shows to a new share and use it to test mb3 but if causes problems I will try a different PC. Quote Link to comment
StevenD
Yes, i run both on the same unraid. Neither have any negative effect on the other. Quote Link to comment

I am a lifetime Plex member but there's some feature media browser has that I wish Plex did. Quote Link to comment

With Trakt installed on both, everything stays sync'd. Quote Link to comment
damonq
Been running both on unraid for months. Right now Plex is a little bit ahead in some features like sync on android and is on more devices. MB (Emby) is catching up though and its open source. They both work great so its really a matter of preference. Quote Link to comment
ijuarez
im going to run it in a docker form but gjfarmins docker does not have ports defined so im not sure how it works. Its also set to host not bridged. Quote Link to comment
lionelhutz
Don't use gjfarmin'd docker. I first tried it and it was outdated and will continue to fall behind the official releases since it only gets updated at some point after the release when he gets to it. Use Hurricane Hernandez's docker for Emby. He builds the official Emby docker so it's kept as up to date as possible. https://github.com/HurricaneHernandez/container-templates Or set it up yourself like I posted here in replies 7 and 8. http://lime-technology.com/forum/index.php?topic=37732.0 Quote Link to comment
