beire
Hey guys, I have added a second drive to form a cache pool. This is on a new "test" server. The 2 disks are 1tb and 750Gb. Should they be of the same size? Since adding the new disk, i can not stop the array. /mnt/cache is busy by a process btrfs. Is this normal? Is it copying data over to the new second drive? Edit: Seems they were balancing. Remains the question, what is the consequence of using 2 drives with different sizes?? Thx! Link to comment

I think that you will find the available space is equivalent to the smaller drive. Adding a third drive means the extra space on the larger drive can be used. Link to comment
