community applications not adding

Featured Replies

was looking through the community applications and found a new docker I wanted to try, and when I clicked add nothing happens. Ive tried it on several different docker containers and nothing.

Same issue here, nothing indexing even for me.

CA uses pop ups when in appFeed mode.  You need to allow pop ups within your browser or disable appFeed mode within its settings (and then hit Update Applications)

What do you mean by "nothing indexing"?
What do you mean by "nothing indexing"?

I'm new to Docker so it could be something I've not done right...

I have Docker enabled and a SSD cache drive, freshly formatted BTFS

Community Applications plugin installed.

Goto Docker tab on the Limetech browser and the CA plugin has a number of tabs but there are no Dockers shown.

Click update applications and it says please wait...retrieving application information! Last Check for updates : In Progress

Then got this error

Warning: file_get_contents(/tmp/tmp-1731159115.url): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /usr/local/emhttp/plugins/community.applications/include/exec.php on line 271 Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /usr/local/emhttp/plugins/community.applications/include/exec.php on line 277 Warning: file_put_contents(/var/lib/docker/unraid/templates-community-apps/templates.json): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /usr/local/emhttp/plugins/community.applications/include/exec.php on line 351

I'm actually thinking that for whatever reason, your tmpfs has been filled up.  Any chance you can open up a telnet window to the server and post the output of

That looks ok.  You're not on the latest version of CA (shouldn't matter however).  But can I get you to update CA and reboot the server and try again..

Just deleted and downloading again but got this error

Also not sure if this is related but I just tried to create a Docker from the Lime Technology repository and got this error

Believe it or not, but we're making progress...  I've seen this before with various plugins where the solution is to set a static DNS address in your settings / network settings.  Try 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4.  You're probably going to have to reboot to clear out unRaid's caching of the bad downloaded plugin file

The LT Docker problem is most likely definitely related.

Thanks for your patience and continued replies. I did have a static DNS but with my router as DNS 1, and 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 as DNS 2 and 3 however I have just set them as you have suggested and am now rebooting.

Thanks for your patience and continued replies.

Gotta go to work shortly, so will only be able to intermittently reply throughout the day, but somebody else should be able to take over if I'm not able to reply.

This much I know right now - its not a CA issue, but something else happening with the system.  We just gotta figure out where and why

I suspect your right, still cant get a LimeTech docker to install after the reboot. This motherboard has two NIC's, perhaps something to do with that is causing the issue.

It shouldn't be an issue.  Can you post your diagnostics file

Is your docker.img full?

Beyond the kernel panic that's in there, the only thing that pops out at me is this line:

Aug  5 14:08:47 SUN shfs/user: shfs_mkdir: assign_disk: appdata (28) No space left on device

But, CA doesn't touch appdata so that's not the issue with it, but may be with installing LT's docker

Beyond that, I'm really not sure.  Someone with more 'nix experience is going to have to pipe in.

Warning: mkdir(): No space left on device in /usr/local/emhttp/plugins/dynamix.docker.manager/createDocker.php on line 23 Warning: chown(): No such file or directory in /usr/local/emhttp/plugins/dynamix.docker.manager/createDocker.php on line 24 Warning: chgrp(): No such file or directory in /usr/local/emhttp/plugins/dynamix.docker.manager/createDocker.php on line 25

Is your docker.img full?

How can I tell? The docker image file is 10,485,760 KB from the 10GB file I created. There is nothing else on the disc yet.

:-[ appdata wasn't setup properly as a share on the cache drive. I also deleted the docker image and recreated it. The limetech plex now gets further and in the command window I get

Command:

root@localhost:# /usr/bin/docker run -d --name="PlexMediaServer" --net="host" --privileged="true" -e TZ="Europe/London" -v "/mnt/user/appdata/plexmediaserver":"/config":rw limetech/plex

Unable to find image 'limetech/plex:latest' locally

The command failed.

Fixed it  8)

I deleted the ident.cfg and network.cfg and plugins folder and copied in the plain ones from a fresh download, rebooted, reset the id and rebooted, shares came up and plugins install and dockers appear and install.

Thanks for your help Squid, you definitely pointed me in the right direction.
