acurcione
I saw this (Pi-hole) today in my news feed and it sounds like something that could be useful, but I was wondering if it would be possible to do this in a Docker container instead of on an actual Pi device. Is that possible? http://jacobsalmela.com/block-millions-ads-network-wide-with-a-raspberry-pi-hole-2-0/ And if it's possible, is anyone out there willing to give it a go? Link to comment
CHBMB
It's an interesting idea. I've mentioned it in the linex-server.io irc room. Guess it will depend if it can be implemented on a ubuntu base image. But looks like it could to my untrained eye. Link to comment
acurcione
Well if you happen to come up with anything please let me know! I need to learn more about docker containers and Linux in general I guess. I know enough to get in trouble, but not necessarily enough to get out! Link to comment

I'm just looking at setting up a DNS server in a docker at the moment.. My head hurts... Link to comment
spants
I have just published unRaid-hole in my docker repository..... This doesn't use the same lists as Pi-Hole but it works the same way - just point your DNS addresses to your unRaid tower and it will forward the valid requests vias Googles DNS servers and drop the rubbish ones.... Support will be in this thread http://lime-technology.com/forum/index.php?topic=38486.0 Tony Link to comment
