Each one displays the temperature fine but sometimes the temperature disappears and is replaced with a "*" until I click the drive and re-run the SMART report and then it appears again. Why don't the temperatures of all my drives stay in the dashboard permanently? Link to comment

Why don't the temperatures of all my drives stay in the dashboard permanently? I have two unassigned drives. One mechanical, one SSD. My SSD drive does the same thing. It shows the drive is in stand-by mode when it is not. I'll run a quick smart like you did and the green ball shows up and the drive temp. Link to comment
