gundamguy
Your internet speed isn't really relevant because this should be all done across your LAN. 10mb/s is what I would expect of a network connection working at 10/100 not gigabit speeds. Your unRAID network adapter is gigabit it seems, so check to make sure you are using cat5e or better cables, that any switches or routers in between are also capable of gigabit speeds. I think you have a weak link somewhere that's slowing it down to 10/100. Quote Link to comment
Masturnar1
I have a wrt1900ac router and using 2 gigabit port on the router switch and unraid tell that im using a 10/100/1000 connection and using cat6 cable. Using a old dell motherboard from a vostro 230 mt probably the reason for slowing Quote Link to comment
AppleJon
10mb/s (bits) or 10MB/s (bytes) ? Were you transferring from or to Unraid? What kind of drive or drives do you have in the unraid machine? What is the OS and type of PC you were using at the other end? Quote Link to comment

ahab666
hi, same here - please explain …. 1. are u using the standard m$ windows explorer for the file copy/move ? 2. does any docker app or plugin use the same /(user) share/ that you try to copy/move the file to ? if 2. does the dockerapp or the plugin use a user named nobody - if you let the app create the directory the owner of the dir and its sub-directories is nobody and you cannot delete or move a files/dirs from that directory-tree …. I found a workaround using krusader and changing the permissions - like everyone can read/write - suddenly I get my full GB LanSpeed - like 80-120 Mbyte / sec … - changed that back …. and 300 KB to max 3,5 MB /sec again seems like there is a little problem with the permission/inheritance behaviour with samba connections cheers Quote Link to comment
