FIXED! Thanks Setting up new install getting This webpage is not available

Featured Replies

Hi Guys! I am currentley setting up a new install of unRAID 6.9 on this computer http://45drives.com/products/storage/order.php?id=Q30&config=02&model=Q30-02&code=Q&software=Default&type=storage from 45drives.com I have coppied the files over to the HDD and ran the make bootable file as admin like requierd, I put the HDD back into the server and booted it up. When it is booted it works just fine, I can login and run commands with no issues, but if I try to access the web GUI from either http://tower or the IP directly (in google chrome) it just gives me the error "This webpage is not available ERR_CONNECTION_REFUSED". I know that it is connected to the network just fine as it has received an IP from the DHCP server, and if I unplug the network cable and refresh the page it will give me a no connection error.

Any ideas on how to fix it?

Thanks

Unraid requires a flash drive to boot from.  Not a hdd

so it won't boot at all from a HDD? It is working fine from the console, just not the GUI

Ok I now have it booting off a USB drive, but it is still having the same problem as before.

CORRECTION

it was trying to connect to the wrong IP as the computer already associated http://tower with a different IP than the current one, so using a USB drive did solve the problem, Thanks
