July 3, 20179 yr I dont think the permissions are working correctly. I have a share and i change the SMB security from Public to secure and made a new username to use it with. I can create folders and delete those but i cant delete existing stuff. The permissions are below. The new folder is the one i made while connected to SMB but the dirs with nobody as user is existing files that i cant edit. Is this a bug? Do i need to manually change the permissions for all folders? I even changed permissions back to public but now nothing is working. Any help is welcome. July 3, 20179 yr Those are folders created by Sonarr (docker app?) Each app has its own unique permission requirements, and your user does not have any rights to modify / delete them. You can do chmod -R 0777 /path/to/folder
