Crashplan help

Featured Replies

If it's just the contents of the array including the virtual disks of your VMs etc, I think the single plan would be fine.

If you want to set up crashplan on a Windows VM to backup the contents of that VM then I think you would need the family plan.

If that makes sense....

Think of it as number of crashplan clients you want to run.

Thanks for this. That is what i thought that i could do. Just set up the docker and get it to backup the entire unraid server - which would include the vmdk, xml and shares.

Can you do individual file restores do you know?

I think so, but I wouldn't rely on my say so.....

Probably better to check on the crashplan site or wait for someone else to confirm as I've only ever used crashplan locally.

CHBMB is correct. I've been running this way for the past year. I use Syncthing to backup various devices (and my family's devices) to my server and then use the one client on the individual license to backup to Crashplan.
