Beginning with unRAID 6.5.0 my server will no longer boot in legacy mode [in my BIOS that was USB:(Flash Drive)]. It will only boot in UEFI mode. Perhaps it is the same now with your motherboard. To boot in UEFI mode, change the boot priority in your BIOS so UEFI: (Flash Drive) as the first priority - you may also need to eliminate the other options - and then rename the EFI- folder on your unRAID flash drive to EFI with no trailing "-" I don't know why your BIOS keeps changing back to UEFI boot, but, you may just want to try a full UEFI boot (BIOS setting and renamed EFI folder on flash drive) to see if that works and sticks across reboots. BobPhoenix
I would suspect the battery on the MB if your bios is not keeping settings. Link to comment
Jobine
it's a new motherboard ! and it seems the only modified parameter. if I power off my server, and restart it... no problem. if I reboot it (via the WebUI), I loose my access. Link to comment
Jobine
For the rest of my story, this morning, my USB key does't work anymore. Surely the source of all my problem. I had to replace it. Buy a new USB key. Download the same unRaid OS. (if you have a backup) Rename the USB key "UNRAID" Copy all the files on it. Boot the server with it Click on the unRaid Server link on the top. Click on the buttom to replace the key, and receive the key by email. Replace the existing key. ALL WORKS NOW ! Link to comment
