GPU Passthrough possible with this config?

Featured Replies

Hi,

I am sure a few years ago I achieved this with my current config but now I am starting to doubt it as I have changed motherboards/cpu's along the way.

I have an ASROCK Pro4/MVP Motherboard and I7-3770K CPU I find it grey on the CPU as some places say it is vt-d enabled others say "k" CPU's are not supported?

If I look in the System information it says IOMMU is disabled, I cannot find any option in the bios for this apart from vt-d not supported, I am unable to find any information on ASROCK website for this board to help me with understanding if it supports IOMMU on not?  any pointers would be appreciated!

M/B: ASRock - H77 Pro4/MVP
CPU: Intel® Core™ i7-3770K CPU @ 3.50GHz
HVM: Enabled
IOMMU: Disabled

Thanks for that, don't suppose you know if the board is compatible? ? have looked and looked, I have a spare ASUS Z170-A seeing as I have to replace the chip due to not being compatible but then would need DDR4 instead of the DDR3 I already have.. just trying to keep costs down considering the price of RAM at the moment! :-0
