Radiopaque
Hi all, I am often envious of all those US people who could take advantage of the great deals that some people post here on the Good Deals! board. By the time a European user is done with shipping and import duties/taxes, the deal is often not so good anymore. Would anyone (beside me) be interested in a Good Deals (EU) board? Cheers, Mark Link to comment
BRiT
Just post the EU deals in here, like we already do for US and Canadian deals. Link to comment
neilt0
There have already been UK deals posted here. I've done one or two. Link to comment
poofyhairguy
I feel really bad for Europeans when it comes to computer parts. Without Newegg most hot deals don't exist, and I can't find anything in Europe/UK like a Newegg. Actually helped a person build a setup the other day from the UK and I ended up having to recommend parts of the UK amazon. Seems really rough over there for our mutual favorite hobby of computing. No, we do have equivalents. I buy most of my stuff from Scan. They have a deals page called "Today Only" which has excellent deals. I recently bought a 2TB Seagate drive for about the same price as you guys are paying in the good ol' USA (if you ignore taxes on both sides of the pond). ebuyer also has good prices and has deals on regularly, but are not as reliable as Scan, so I try to avoid them. Rajahal
EU retailers seem to be fine, the main problem is that certain big brands are largely unavailable in Europe. SuperMicro and Biostar, for example. Link to comment

Radiopaque
I wish I'd known about the Norco case! Maybe I'll sell my Lian-li and get one of those instead... I better make sure they ship to mainland Europe first, though Link to comment

papnikol
I actually think that a European good deals board would be useful and the reason is that the few good European deals are lost in the multitude of the US ones. So for us, the less fortunate, it would be a nice help... Link to comment
