Happy 25th Birthday Slackware!

Featured Replies

Maybe I should check if I can boot any of my old SLS and Slackware installations I originally did run on 128 MB MO disks. Quite a number of turns around the sun since I last booted a machine with SCSI and played with the MO disks.

Slackware 3.9 is my first distro (Didn't have a phone line, let alone internet until then abouts)

I did run SLS with a number of Linux kernels around 0.97, 0.98, 0.99. I think the oldest Slackware I have complete, bootable, on a MO disk is 1.1. Really curious if it still boots.

To quote my co-worker, "Thanks! Thanks, for making me feel old. . . "
