Can unRAID handle 64 threads?

Featured Replies

In light of the shipping-soon Threadripper 2, does any one know if unRAID has any restriction with regard to number of cores / threads?

Yeah, I know it's not out yet so no one knows for sure but at least theoretically, someone in Limetech should have a rough idea presumably?

For example, Windows 10 had (still has?) MMCSS limitation of 32 threads (28 for audio), which caused problems with some audio applications on high-core-count CPUs. Not sure how things go with Linux-based OS.

TIA.

I've run it on 4 processors and 88 threads. so, yeah. it's fine.
