August 29, 20187 yr Author I had been using a static ip address to my server, then I went and bought a Lyra Trio Mesh router system, and the instructions for setting up a static ip address might as well been written in Chinese, no offense to anyone.

In that way you get the best of both worlds in that your unRAID server is always on the same address in normal working, but if you ever plug it into a new router you still get a valid IP address assigned.
August 29, 20187 yr Community Expert You can certainly rename it from the command line, which you can access from the webUI. Do you know how? itimpi beat me with better advice.

I see settings, but not seeing network listed under setiings. I do see AFP, NFS, SMB FTP Server and Speedtest listed under network services
August 29, 20187 yr Author OK, I think I may have found the settings. Everything in that box is shaded or blacked out, and I think I need to stop the array to make changes

Don't try to put in any address assignments. You want to set it so the assignments are automatic.
