November 18, 20187 yr Community Expert I believe LT was looking at encrypting in situ, but currently not possible. You'll have to add new drive(s) and shuffle your data across drives if you want to do it at the moment.

Yes, the drive doesn't need to be freshly added to the array. Just copy off the data before reformatting it with an encrypted option.
