LowBrow
Hello! I'm getting CRC errors up the wazzo on my 2 cache drives in raid1 with 2 500gb SSD's. I've done a search for CRC Errors on the forums and have purchased new SATA cables, installed them and moved SATA ports around. that didn't change anything. I've read the start here section and have gathered some info and I'll post below. Hopefully, I didn't miss anything. libvirt.txt syslog.txt docker.txt Samsung_SSD_860_EVO_500GB_S3Z1NB0KA06585Z-20181202-2038 cache (sdc).txt ST10000NE0004-1ZF101_ZA26JB7F-20181202-2038 disk1 (sdd).txt ST10000NE0004-1ZF101_ZA26JB7T-20181202-2038 parity (sde).txt ST10000NE0004-1ZF101_ZA26JKLV-20181202-2038 disk2 (sdf).txt USB_USB_Flash_Disk_FBL1712021700048-0-0-20181202-2038 flash (sda).txt Samsung_SSD_860_EVO_500GB_S3Z1NB0KA06577B-20181202-2038 cache2 (sdb).txt Link to comment
John_M
Go to Tools -> Diagnostics and post the complete zip file. It contains all the information you've provided and a lot more in a manageable format. Link to comment
JorgeB
Samsung SSDs can be picky about cables, make sure you're using good quality SATA 3.0 cables, if it's not the cables it's likely the SATA controller. Curiously your board appears to have 6 SATA ports but only 5 are being detected. Link to comment

Hopefully, It's not the board! Most modern cables are SATA 3.0 right? That could be an issue... Link to comment

I know, I was referring to the fact that the controller is being detected as a 5 port controller, that's not normal: Dec 2 19:54:20 rexsteel kernel: ahci 0000:00:11.0: AHCI 0001.0200 32 slots 5 ports 6 Gbps 0x1f impl SATA mode Link to comment
