pran
I am facing this issue after using i9-9900k for only two days. Initially it was running but suddenly after 2-3 days random restarts started happening. Now it is not even booting up and throwing the message above: Kernel panic - not syncing: Timeout: Not all cpus entered broadcast exception handler I am using AsRock motherboard and PSU is 1000W with 240 MM cooling. Heating is not the issue since the temperature was normal when it got restarted last time. Is it related to some motherboard setting for overclocking ? Thank You Pranjal Sahu Quote Link to comment
craznes
Have you found a solution to this issue? I have having the same problem after a hardware upgrade of Mobo, CPU, & ram. Quote Link to comment

craznes
board was new just opened up yesterday, do you have an idea of what setting that could be. I never have overclocked. Quote Link to comment
limetech
google that message and lots of links come up. Could be microcode, bios, strange interaction with certain usb devices used by VM's. Make sure your bios is up to date, and never hurts to run a couple memtest passes. Quote Link to comment
craznes
Updated the bios, I have one vm but its not set to autostart, system reboots before I get close to starting a vm. Running a memtest now and will reply with results. Quote Link to comment
craznes
2 pass with memtest no errors. Quote Link to comment
