trurl
Did you delete the docker image or not? Those plex mappings are still wrong. Don't install anything until you delete and recreate the docker image. Quote Link to comment
trurl
In fact, delete and recreate the docker image then post diagnostics. Don't try to install any dockers at all. Quote Link to comment
acozad1
I am sorry. I thought deleting the docker would delete the image as well. Sorry to ask you this. But how do you delte an image? Quote Link to comment

Go to Settings - Docker and disable dockers, then it will let you delete the image. The docker image is where all containers executable code is stored. It is also where a container will write if you make it write to anything that isn't mapped, which is what you did before. Quote Link to comment
acozad1
Your awesome. So I deleted the image file. Quote Link to comment
trurl
Create a new one using those same settings on that same page. Quote Link to comment
acozad1
Here is the new diagnostic after removing the image. tower-diagnostics-20190413-2003.zip Quote Link to comment
trurl
Those diagnostics are fine but the diagnostics after you create a new docker image is what I really wanted. Quote Link to comment
acozad1
So i should use these settings? Quote Link to comment
acozad1
Just installed the plex docker. Here is the file. tower-diagnostics-20190413-2012.zip Quote Link to comment
acozad1
Thanks again for all your help and patients with me. Tell trying to wrap my head around all this. Being new to something is tough. Quote Link to comment
trurl
Those diagnostics look OK, but I can't really tell from the diagnostics how you installed plex. The last screenshot you showed for a plex docker install was wrong. Let's try this, since it will give you another way to get us the information for any of your docker setups. Post the docker run command for your plex docker as explained here: https://forums.unraid.net/topic/57181-real-docker-faq/#comment-564345 Quote Link to comment
acozad1
Ok. I will take a look and try to get you that info. Thanks Quote Link to comment
acozad1
So I think I could be on to something here. But I feel like it could be the metedata that is filling up. But I am still looking over the link you provided me to get you the info for the docker itself. Once I get that I will send it over to you for a look. Quote Link to comment
acozad1
This is what I am currently at. As Plex is still loading up everything. Movies and TV Shows Quote Link to comment
acozad1
I used the LimeTech repository to run plex Quote Link to comment
trurl
Waiting for the docker run command. I am going to quote the part of the linked post here. It is very short, not complicated, and shouldn't take long to get it and post it. acozad1
Here is the command line. I hope I set this up right. Hahahahaha. Quote Link to comment
trurl
You don't have a mapping for the plex appdata, which is what your problem has been all along. This will cause the plex library, which can be quite large, to be stored in the docker image, as you have already experienced. Quote Link to comment
acozad1
So how would suggest that I do that? Just create a path for that to be put on my array or cache? Quote Link to comment
acozad1
I noticed that it has been slowly creeping back up. I am at 66% already again. Quote Link to comment
