April 13, 20197 yr Community Expert Did you delete the docker image or not? Those plex mappings are still wrong. Don't install anything until you delete and recreate the docker image.
April 13, 20197 yr Community Expert In fact, delete and recreate the docker image then post diagnostics. Don't try to install any dockers at all.
April 13, 20197 yr I am sorry. I thought deleting the docker would delete the image as well. Sorry to ask you this. But how do you delte an image?
April 13, 20197 yr Community Expert 22 minutes ago, trurl said: Disable docker service if you enabled it, delete the docker image and recreate it. Go to Settings - Docker and disable dockers, then it will let you delete the image. The docker image is where all containers executable code is stored. It is also where a container will write if you make it write to anything that isn't mapped, which is what you did before.
April 13, 20197 yr Here is the new diagnostic after removing the image. tower-diagnostics-20190413-2003.zip
April 13, 20197 yr Community Expert Those diagnostics are fine but the diagnostics after you create a new docker image is what I really wanted.
April 13, 20197 yr Just installed the plex docker. Here is the file. tower-diagnostics-20190413-2012.zip
April 13, 20197 yr Thanks again for all your help and patients with me. Tell trying to wrap my head around all this. Being new to something is tough.
April 13, 20197 yr Community Expert Those diagnostics look OK, but I can't really tell from the diagnostics how you installed plex. The last screenshot you showed for a plex docker install was wrong. Let's try this, since it will give you another way to get us the information for any of your docker setups. Post the docker run command for your plex docker as explained here: https://forums.unraid.net/topic/57181-real-docker-faq/#comment-564345
April 13, 20197 yr So I think I could be on to something here. But I feel like it could be the metedata that is filling up. But I am still looking over the link you provided me to get you the info for the docker itself. Once I get that I will send it over to you for a look.
April 13, 20197 yr This is what I am currently at. As Plex is still loading up everything. Movies and TV Shows
April 14, 20197 yr Community Expert Waiting for the docker run command. I am going to quote the part of the linked post here. It is very short, not complicated, and shouldn't take long to get it and post it. On 5/26/2017 at 12:03 PM, Squid said: post the docker "run" command that will appear when you install / edit the application (you can always make any change and then change it back and hit "Apply" to get the docker run command to appear
April 18, 20197 yr Community Expert You don't have a mapping for the plex appdata, which is what your problem has been all along. This will cause the plex library, which can be quite large, to be stored in the docker image, as you have already experienced.
April 18, 20197 yr So how would suggest that I do that? Just create a path for that to be put on my array or cache?
