macnerd77 Posted May 8, 2019 Share Posted May 8, 2019 Hey all my current tower case is full of drives and I am upgrading to a full size tower with more bays. Is there any thing special I need to take into account? Do the Sata Cables from each drive have to go back into the exact ports on the board that they came from? I certain that I do no have to use the same exact cable with the drive but not sure about the port. Quote Link to comment

I'd HIGHLY recommend taking a screenshot of which physical drives are which unraid drives so you can make sure they match up.
