October 12, 20196 yr Hi, A few months or so ago I enabled SSL and have installed it on my Unraid Version: 6.7.2 and have done the DNS fix for my local PFSense box. I noticed though since earlier I had a power outage hence my internet borked that I couldnt access the GUI of unRaid. Is there a way I could disable this function again and go back to the unsecured IP based access? For the life of me I can't even remember how I enabled it. Thanks!
October 12, 20196 yr Edit config/ident.cfg on the flash drive and change USE_SSL to no Then reboot from the console powerdown -r
March 22, 20215 yr Hi, can anyone help me go through? I'm in the ssh, and I'm lost to proceed. (beginner).

In the Unraid GUI, go to Tools >>> Config File Editor and edit the file from that tool. Do the reboot from the Terminal that is built into the GUI. Edited March 22, 20215 yr by Frank1940

August 14, 20214 yr What version is this answer for? I see no such Tools >>> Config File Editor Editing the file on boot USB.
August 14, 20214 yr It's another plugin. If it's not there you can do it via SMB (if you've exported the flash share) on Windows, or via the command prompt nano /boot/config/ident.cfg CTRL-X to save followed by a reboot
May 17, 20242 yr Sorry to resurrect this thread, but there is a new way to do this: https://docs.unraid.net/unraid-os/manual/security/secure-webgui-ssl/#https-with-myunraidnet-certificate-and-with-no-fallback-url Just type "use_ssl no" in your console.
