Removing unraid.net SSL

Featured Replies

Hi,

A few months or so ago I enabled SSL and have installed it on my Unraid Version: 6.7.2 and have done the DNS fix for my local PFSense box. I noticed though since earlier I had a power outage hence my internet borked that I couldnt access the GUI of unRaid. Is there a way I could disable this function again and go back to the unsecured IP based access? For the life of me I can't even remember how I enabled it.

Thanks!

Edit config/ident.cfg on the flash drive and change USE_SSL to no

Then reboot from the console

powerdown -r

In the Unraid GUI, go to   Tools    >>>  Config File Editor   and edit the file from that tool.   Do the reboot from the Terminal that is built into the GUI.

What version is this answer for? I see no such Tools >>> Config File Editor

Editing the file on boot USB.

It's another plugin.  If it's not there you can do it via SMB (if you've exported the flash share) on Windows, or via the command prompt

nano /boot/config/ident.cfg

CTRL-X to save followed by a reboot
