In second slot i have LSI 9201-16e, and old controller that i used in Dell R610. I have the latest BIOS from Gigabyte, F42G with AGESA 1.0.0.3 ABBA. Its possible? Thanks in advance. david279
You would be good but hopefully the bios bug doesn't effect that motherboard. Resent versions of AMD bios have this bug that prevents passing through cards. There is a newer 1.0.0.4 version out now. Might be worth a shot if it has a bug. Quote Link to comment
cyberspectre
I was doing exactly that until a few days ago. Now, it only works if I have the gaming graphics card (in my case a 970) set as the secondary VGA in the BIOS. When it's set to the default VGA, it doesn't work. If you experience the same problem, roll back to UnRaid 6.6.6 and that will likely fix it. Quote Link to comment

Thanks You said "Waiting for the new graphics card (GTX 1660 Super), for the first slot, and GT 710 to the third slot." So is the 710 currently in the 1st or 3rd slot? Without the 1660, you will have to post the IOMMU when the GT710 is in the 1st AND when it's in the 3rd slot (so we can see what groups those slots are in). Just based on your current post, all I can say is you won't be able to pass through whatever slot the 710 is currently in because it's in the same group as the LSI card. (see below) IOMMU group 2: [1022:1452] 00:03.0 Host bridge: Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. Vitor Ventura
Thanks for the answers. Yes, Gt710 is in the first slot, in the same group of lsi card. Not using ACS Override now. The GTX1660S will arrive next week. Quote Link to comment

testdasi
Yeah, that looks better. While you are waiting for the card, I recommend doing these: Boot Unraid in legacy mode. This has been proven to help with the dreaded error code 43 with Nvidia cards. Check your BIOS to see if you can change which slot is used as primary GPU (i.e. what Unraid boots with). 1 Quote Link to comment

methanoid
@Vitor Ventura do you still have the mobo and on newer BIOS? What IOMMU groups do you get with a) No ACS patch b) ACS downstream patch c) ACS downstream multifunction Quote Link to comment

methanoid
Thanks... that tells me on F3 BIOS (VERY old) you need ACS patch.... But your board now has MANY more BIOS updates https://www.gigabyte.com/uk/Motherboard/X470-AORUS-ULTRA-GAMING-rev-10/support#support-dl-bios I suspect if you were on latest you might not need ACS patch at all... If you do update, please LMK. This board has the layout I want Quote Link to comment
Vitor Ventura
I know this bios is too old, but, the performance in VM is almost like bare metal (minus a few cores,of course), but works fine for me.If i, some day update cpu, well, i'll have to update bios, and let you know.Edit: like i said, i dont have ACS patch enable.
