Mihael
Fix Common Problems is reporting a Machine Check Events error: Your server has detected hardware errors. You should install mcelog via the NerdPack plugin, post your diagnostics and ask for assistance on the unRaid forums. The output of mcelog (if installed) has been logged. I downloaded the diagnostics. Can someone tell me what to do here? Thank you! diagnostics-20191201-1032.zip Quote Link to comment
JorgeB
Not an expert on these but looks like a corrected cache memory error: Nov 30 04:55:10 Godzilla kernel: [Hardware Error]: Corrected error, no action required. Nov 30 04:55:10 Godzilla kernel: [Hardware Error]: CPU:0 (17:71:0) MC27_STATUS[-|CE|MiscV|-|-|-|-|SyndV|-]: 0x982000000002080b Nov 30 04:55:10 Godzilla kernel: [Hardware Error]: IPID: 0x0001002e00000500, Syndrome: 0x000000005a020001 Nov 30 04:55:10 Godzilla kernel: [Hardware Error]: Power, Interrupts, etc. Extended Error Code: 2 Nov 30 04:55:10 Godzilla kernel: [Hardware Error]: Power, Interrupts, etc. Error: Error on GMI link. Nov 30 04:55:10 Godzilla kernel: [Hardware Error]: cache level: L3/GEN, mem/io: IO, mem-tx: GEN, part-proc: SRC (no timeout) Since it was corrected I would ignore for now, but if they keep happening CPU might be going. CPU might be going... damn... it's a brand new AMD Ryzen Thank you for your help. Quote Link to comment
zeus83
Caught the similar error yesterday running Ryzen 3900X and memory at 3600 Mhz (OC from 3466). Reddit folks say it's due to overclocked RAM instability: Quote Link to comment

zeus83
Yep, 3200Mhz is max officially supported, but it's AMD itself who advertised 3600Mhz as defacto standard for 3rd gen Ryzen builds. Altough I understand it is sheer marketing. I'll monitor the stability and will revert to 3200 if the issue persists. As a backup I also have 32Gb of ECC DDR4 2666 which were running incredibly stable. However I just wanted gain more from my Ryzen 🙂 Switching to 3600 gave me 1-2 FPS in benchmarks 😁 Quote Link to comment
