Humi
Hi After a few hours - a few days my server goes offline and shows "tower login: acpid: exiting". Can't do anything after that. If I restart the server it goes back up again, but crashes after a while. How do I fix this? Quote Link to comment
testdasi
Turn on Syslog server to mirror to flash (Settings -> Syslog Server). Start your server, wait till crash happens, reboot. Tools -> Diagnostics -> attach zip file Attach mirrored syslog file (which should include both pre and post crash events). Quote Link to comment

Humi
Anyone got a solution on this? The problem didn't exist when I had the trial of unRaid Quote Link to comment
BRiT
Stop putting your unraid server on the internet. You're getting login attempts from the following ips in Amsterdam, China. Your server is turning off because most likely because some kind sole has found you incorrectly exposed your server to the internet and is turning it off so your data is not nuked or hacked. You need to stop exposing your server to the entire internet. Make sure it is not directly connected to the Internet but connect via a router and does not have ports forwarded to the server. This would include making sure it is not in the Router’s DMZ as well. Humi
What ports is unRaid running on? Or where can I find a list of them? Quote Link to comment

That question does not really make sense if Unraid is not exposed to the Internet it does not matter what ports are used and in any case the ports will vary according to the services that you are running on Unraid. If you are doing port forwarding through your router then one assumes that you know what the ports you are forwarding are used for. Quote Link to comment
