saarg
You can change back to your old cache drive and then copy the content to the array, and then to the new cache drive after swapping the cache drives again. Just remember to stop docker and vm service before swapping the drives. Quote Link to comment
Amorbellum
okay so, the cache drives have no backup. is there a way to protect the vm's and dockers in case of drive failure? regularly back them up to the array? ive formatted the old drive already so i think im screwed. that sucks but i just want to learn from this so it doesnt happen again. testdasi
There is a plugin on the app store to backup docker appdata (and flash + libvirt). Libvirt is where your VM xml is saved. As to backing up the VM vdisks, I don't think there's a plugin for that. I do it manually by bash script. Quote Link to comment
