Kevinduring
Hello, I have bought a fantec src-3168x07, im using a MSI Z170a M5 motherboard, and its unable to see the disk under Unraid, even in Bios. When everything was installed in a simple PC, it worked great. Whats new in the back plane, i just used a SAS (8087) to SATA Cable and plugged from the backplane to the motherboard. No way unable to see a HDD... I tried to use Raid Mode instead of AHCI in the Bios and no changes. Any ideas ? See attached picture Thanks for your help Quote Link to comment
Squid
You probably bought forward breakout cabling. You need reverse breakout. They look the same, but are wired differently Quote Link to comment
