aflores3 Posted May 3, 2020 Share Posted May 3, 2020 I received a messages stating that Machine Check Events were detected on my server -- it also started a Read Check. It instructed me to post my diagnostics. If you guys could take a look, I'd appreciate it. Disk 5 has been disabled. I know that, and a replacement is on it's way, but I'd never had it detect Machine Check Events even when a drive goes bad, so I'm afraid it might be more. (as an aside, if I get a bigger drive, can I put it in parity while disk5 is disabled?) tower-diagnostics-20200503-0900.zip Quote Link to comment
Squid Posted May 3, 2020 Share Posted May 3, 2020 Certain combinations of CPUs / motherboards / your astrology sign (Scorpio's have it the worst) will issue an MCE during startup up when initializing the cores. Probably due to microcode updates and can be safely ignored. Quote Link to comment
