bdydrp
Ive just replaced my hardware (cpu, mobo, ram) and cannot access my system via webUI Ive attached a monitor and keyboard to my system and can access bios just fine, Unraid boots to the splashscreen where i can make a choice. Unraid OS - Takes me to the following: I can login at this cmd line But i cant access the server via IP on another machine Unraid OS with GUI - Takes me to a blank screen with a white - in the top right hand corner. And still no access via another machine Lost on what to try next? Edited July 1, 2020 by bdydrp SOLVED Quote Link to comment
JorgeB
It could be that it's using a different NIC or the order changed, you can boot with GUI mode and change witch NIC it eth0 Quote Link to comment
bdydrp
If i select boot with GUI, all i get is blank screen with a dash in the top left corner! Can u put the unraid USB in a PC and change any settings manually?? Edited June 29, 2020 by bdydrp Quote Link to comment
JorgeB
Delete/rename network.cfg and network-rules.cfg both in the config folder, then boot again, you still might need to change the cable to a different NIC depending on witch one gets assigned by default as eth0. Quote Link to comment
bdydrp
Thanks Will give this a go! Quote Link to comment
bdydrp
Ive removed both files Also removed the 4 port intel card so that its forced to use the onboard NIC When unraid loads, i get to login The lines IPv4 - Not set IPv6 - Not set Should both network.cfg and network-rules.cfg files get re-created upon boot? And an IP should be assigned via DHCP? Also, selecting Unraid with WebUI, only loads to blank screen still! Edited June 29, 2020 by bdydrp Quote Link to comment

With a single NIC only network.cfg would be re-created, if it isn't it points to a problem with the flash drive, i.e., it's not booting correctly. 3 minutes ago, bdydrp said: And an IP should be assigned via DHCP? Yes. Backup current flash, re-create it using the USB tool then restore the config folder. Quote Link to comment
bdydrp
Thanks 28 minutes ago, johnnie.black said: With a single NIC only network.cfg would be re-created, if it isn't it points to a problem with the flash drive, i.e., it's not booting correctly. I'll double check, but i dont think a new network.cfg file was created Ill backup USB anyway, and if all else fails, will recreate usb drive and restore config Cheers Edited June 29, 2020 by bdydrp Quote Link to comment
bdydrp
Have run the usb creator tool, and copied my existing config folder. Now it doesnt want to boot at all, it just goes straight to bios Will have another look tomorrow afternoon Quote Link to comment
JorgeB
Make sure you enabled UEFI boot when creating the flash, or just rename "EFI-" to "EFI" Quote Link to comment

bdydrp
Quick test before work, It now boots fine after renaming folder. But now at login screen, IPv4 is not set. Something is causing it to not get an IP from my DHCP. Possibly an issue with my onboard NIC?? Quote Link to comment

bdydrp
Latest beta worked. Driver loaded and IP received from DHCP Main page loaded but some disk were not assigned.. So will double check sata cables. Would it be safe to assume other disks remained on correct slot? Quote Link to comment
JorgeB
You already had a missing disk on the previous diags, check connections. Quote Link to comment
