July 22, 20205 yr I'm having an issue were I'm having the first disk in my array constantly writing data, which is matched on the parity drive. The only dockers I have running are plex and handbrake. I had pihole running but I stopped it to try to eliminate it with no change. Plex data is saved to a SSD and I havent ran handbrake it roughly a week. It has taken 9 days uptime for the 6GB of data to be written. Is there anyway for me to find out what is writing the data to the drive? Thanks in advance for any suggestions
July 22, 20205 yr I use the command iotop. I might have had to install it with the nerdpack plugin but it shows disk activity per process when you run it.
July 22, 20205 yr Author I'm getting a spike with the 2 processes in the image. I'm a rookie with unraid and linux. How can I fix this problem? Thanks again
July 23, 20205 yr Author I havent added any dockers since this has started. The only thing I have running is handbrake and Plex, plex is set to use a SSD via unassigned devices. How can I identify which image is doing the writing. Thanks for the help. I'm lost right now.
