JorgeB
Ooh, and since they are encrypted it will ask for a new encrypton key, just enter the current one twice. Quote Link to comment

Little nervous here, on doing this before starting array both parity drives are showing "All existing data on this device will be OVERWRITTEN when array is Started' Quote Link to comment

They *were* encrpted.. Edited December 2, 2020 by dja Quote Link to comment

Since it didn't finish the parity check/rebuild previously, should I start that now? Also, the new disk I added without encyption- how best to handle that and get it encrypted? I don't see any data on it. Quote Link to comment

Stop the array, click on that disk and change the filesystem to "encrypted-xfs", then start the array and format it (any data on data disk will be deleted). Quote Link to comment

Is there an easy way to sync via the GUI? Not seeing that option. Quote Link to comment
JorgeB
You'd need to do another new config and this time don't check "parity is already valid" OR unassign both parity disks, start the array, stop the array, re-assign both and start the array to begin the parity sync. 1 Quote Link to comment
