My Server Board Hi guys was wondering if it might still be possible to get a replacement battery for this board? I ask cause IPMView reports that it doesn't exist even though I can see it on the board. I also can tell its dead cause When I have the server unplugged for a while the BIOS settings I had default back and the Time doesn't stay correct. I attached a Pic of the battery to prove that it is there lol. If possible could someone link to a place that would have compatible BIOS Battery's?

that 100TB is part of the plan,not sure if ya looked at the link above for the different plans or not but thats what they offer,if I could I would have them maybe bring it down to 40TB maybe the plan would be even cheaper than $86.76 for the first month and then $96.76/mo. after that.

For the Email side I doubt id hit 100TB a month cause it will be me only using the email server sending and receiving. Want to have my own email with my domain. Now once I learn HTML and start serving web pages then i'm not sure about hitting 100TB a month.

Hi im thinking on getting a Dedicated server from the place I got my domain from which is Namecheap. Would this be enough to run a Email Server and Web Server,It will be mainly only me using it i'm not a business or anything,I am planning to run a Email Server and a Web Server. Was going to try and host all this my self but everyone kept saying I should just get a Dedicated Server somewhere. I was going to do it at my place but id have to worry about keeping a computer on all the time and having it sucking electric every month. Hi guys I just installed American Truck Simulator Dedicated Server in a Docker on Unraid. My problem it keeps saying Invalid server version when i find it on the Convoy server list How do I update the server?

Ok these are the temps when I first turn it on; FirstStart1 FirstStart2 IPMView also states that the Fan setting is set to full unless that is just for CPU fans; FanSetting Edit; Ive had the Server on for like 20 or 30min now and the temps seem fine now. Not sure if IPMView is being screwie or not lol.

So i'm assuming due to the lack of responses here that there there really is nothing I can do to cool those temps? I can't fit anymore fans in the case. I am afraid to run my Server now don't want it starting a fire

Hi guys.. First off I am hoping this is the correct place for this.... Someone here recommended this MB to me in 2019 on Unraid. My Motherboard; Motherboard Just so ya guys know I just recently found the Software for the MB,I thought I had to pay for PMIView last time I checked there site so I never looked at temps except CPU since 2019 when I built this server. Ok my CPU temps are fine,now these temps I am worried about; Temp Temp2 So basically I have been running the Server off and on since 2019 with those high temps and didn't realize it. There is 6 fans plus 4 fans x2 each on the CPU coolers. The fans,cooler and case also were recommended from someone on this site Unraid. This here is my case; My Server Case Just curious what I can do to lower those temps,I'm afraid my server may fry Btw the inside of the Server is Immaculate no dust or anything,I take good care of the server. I do eventually want to put Windows Server 2019 or 2022 on it if it will work. Currently Unraid is on it.

Hi guys I know this is old but didn't want to open a new one. Curious could someone recommend a decent PDU and a UPS? I have been using the BESTTEN PDU since February of last year and everything seems to be working fine so far (Knock on Wood). I never plugged my server into it yet just a wall outlet. So I was just curious about recommendations on a PDU and a UPS. Thank you in advance for any help or suggestions.

Everything works now. Curious I see that there are updates for the OS can I download them or will it mess up the OS?

Ok I think I got it now,I used macOS Install on that screen twice and it finally showed the Big Sur Hard Drive.

How did ya Get it working? I can't get passed the part where ya need to install the OS Big Sur doesn't show up for me the second time. Look above at the pic to see what I mean.

I have restarted from scratch like 7 or 8 times or more in the last 2 days or so I am beginning to think Macinabox hates me lol. My connection from RCN is 1G download. I tried to see if I can use Method 2 to download but that option doesnt even show up like it did in the video tutorial. Hmm I wonder if you go to 9:06 in the tutorial you can see he has 3 drives 2 say QEMO and 1 says macOS Base system before he formats and names the biggest one that he picks to Big Sur,mine has Apple Inc. VirtlO Block Media,1 QEMO and macOS Base System. I pick the Apple Inc. which is the largest at 350G. I rename it to Big Sur like he says to when picking the largest. So I am wondering if this could be the problem cause i have the Apple Inc. instead of QEMO like his. Edit; I am beginning to think Macinabox may be broken cause I got a response from someone on Youtube at the Tutorial that he is having the same issues. Also I noticed that Macinabox is like 2 years now thought it was newer than that. I know for a fact Catalina works on my server in a VM cause I remember following a tutorial from SpaceInvader One a few years ago and it worked I just cant find that one anymore I Hope/Wish SpaceInvader One may work on Macinabox once again in the near future. Would Love to try out Big Sur. Really wish Mac Books didn't cost so much lol.

Hiya if you go to 9:00 on the Youtube tutorial thats one of things I did and if you go to 9:07 I erased the disk like i'm suppose to and renamed the largest disk to Big Sur then I picked "Reinstall macOS Big Sur" Then I picked Big Sur hard drive then I let it download which took me like 46min. Then the macOS rebooted and the screen at 9:39 is when im suppose to pick boot drive which is suppose to be Big Sur so it can boot but like in the pic above I don't get that Big Sur Drive again so it can't go in to macOS. I did pick macOS installer to see what would happen but after another 24 min it will go back to the recovery window that shows up back in the video at 8:59. I will try and do as you say and not pick a drive and let it time out and see what happens. Any idea how long it normally takes to time out? Edit; I let it sit for a hour or so but no luck

Hi guys,kinda late to the party here but i'm having a problem. I followed the instructions to the letter when watching the YouTube vid about Hackinabox,I tried Big Sur,Monteray,and Catalina but for some reason when it comes time to pick the drive to boot MacOS the drive I formatted and installed the OS to doesn't show up for some reason. This pic I have doesn't show Big Sur so no way to boot Ive been at this for like 2 days now Sorry for crappy pic I used my phone. Not sure what I am doing wrong Please help.

Hi guys not sure if anyone has done this or not or if its even possible,hope this is the right place for this. What I am trying to do is connect from the 10g SFP+ card on the Server to the bottom 10g SFP on the UniFi Switch PRO 24. Is this possible? Will it be able to connect to the net going through that port? I do have a static IP on the server for the 10g port on the Server but when i try to connect to the server it just times out. Man I hope I made sense The picture shows the Dream Machine Pro which is the Router,the UniFi Switch PRO 24 PoE and the last is the Unifi Switch PRO 24,I want to connect from the server to the bottom 10G SFP+ port on the bottom switch;

Curious could you suggest a place to get these and Cat8 Jacks? Will the Jacks already be wired? I suck at wiring lol.

Sorry for the dumb questions guys I am so new to Networking Stuff,I finally was able to build my Network with Ubiquiti UniFi Stuff I would of loved to go with Cisco Network stuff but they seem expensive.
