  1. it's more than just a redesign. BTSync 2.0 has been released.
  2. good luck if you're a mac/ios user. can't find anything but windows/android based consoles. tried installing the mac version of serviio but that console only allows management of the local mac based server.
  3. this makes me happy. overbyrn's plugin had support for a lot of the common beets "plugins" but many have been added to beets and not reflected in overbyrn's plugin configuration page - it would be nice to have access to the full spectrum. let me know if you need any user input/testing.
  4. I've started using BTSync with pretty good success. Nothing fancy, but good solid multi-platform support and fast transfer rates.
  5. pssst.. overbyrn is quietly updating his plugins. https://github.com/overbyrn/unraid-v6-plugins
  6. agreed. i think the "downloads a playlist instead of playing inside of the subsonic portal" is my issue, specific to chrome. i switched over to safari and it plays as expected. also jamstash and iSub are working with the default ffmpeg settings after upgrading to 5.0 beta 2.
  7. tweaked some ffmpeg syntax from within the subsonic console and it appears to have fixed streaming to my iOS application. Jamstash still works too. Clicking play on any song/album within the subsonic console just downloads a playlist.m3u file - I'm inclined to think that's a subsonic issue and not your plugin itself. ffmpeg -i %s -ab 192k -id3v2_version 3 -map_metadata 0 -map 0:0 -ar 44100 -ac 2 -v 0 -f mp3 - I might flip the switch on "use beta version" in the plugin config to see if there's any improvement there.
  8. hmm, ok.. i'll keep troubleshooting on my side. no shared dependencies with beets, I was just trying to give you a total view of what I had installed.
  9. I needed to finish some disk preclears and reboot before I could be sure. The new subsonic plugin installs and runs just fine, catalogues my libary, but transcoding from FLAC to mp3 seems to be flaky. Music streams in Jamstash, but not the subsonic interface or via my iSub iOS app. very odd. I'm running a fresh install of unraid 6b7 with only your transmission and serviio plugins and beets.
  10. way ahead of you http://lime-technology.com/forum/index.php?topic=34881.0 vote here.. http://lime-technology.com/forum/index.php?topic=34549.0
  11. i figured it would add some credibility to my 36 post count.
  12. beets, per NAS. (http://beets.radbox.org/) a docker does exist, but does not appear to be enhanced for unRAID. https://registry.hub.docker.com/u/hurricane/docker-beets/
  13. Sorry, I didn't see that you mentioned "installed but not working". Can you post your plugin settings? I'll see if I can replicate it and fix it i was getting this error until I removed my subsonic plugin. any ideas on how to have them coexist? serviio serves up my movies/music locally and subsonic serves up my music when i'm out of the house.
  14. agreed, the upgrade path works as described. the problem, however, is that 7.x is a crappy dumbed down version of it's predecessors - most specifically, no controls over transcoding. back to 6.0.32 for me.
  15. 3 x Samsung HD501LJ 3 x Hitachi HDT725050VLA360 $250 shipped and paypal'd. Offers welcome. update: sold 2 locally.
  16. $100 shipped and pp'd? It's just sitting here unused, but I'd like to get as much as possible out of it so I can buy a Supermicro adapter.
  17. I've searched around and found some relevant topics, but they all seem to be out dated or not really provide a clear yes/no compatibility opinion. I've got a 1u dell server that I'm using to run unraid (it was free, 2x dual core AMD, and 8gb RAM, heavy duty server components, hard to pass up) which has me limited to 2 internal drives. I currently have 4TB installed, but have an additional 8x 500GB drives that I want to utilize. I've basically got two options - something like the Rosewill 8-bay enclosure: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16816132016 or to build a shelf (all of my gear is in a 42u cabinet) for mounting the 8 drives and a dedicated ATX power supply, some creative case mods, 1m SAS forward breakout cables, and the SUPERMICRO AOC-SASLP-MV8. Price is about the same. Aesthics aren't super critical, and I'm handy enough to successfully implement the second option. I'm curious if the Rosewill device will introduce any particular issues or provide degraded performance when compared to the supermicro AOC. tks - Michael
  18. Nothing fancy, but a solid base setup for basic unRAID setup. 1 x Gigabyte GA-m61p-s3 motherboard (gigabit LAN, 4 onboard sata, 1 pcie-16, boots from flash) 1 x AMD Sempron CPU (either 1.6GHz or 1.8GHz, can't remember) 1 x 2GB Crucial RAM 2 x Hitachi Deskstar 250GB sata drives Looking to get $125 shipped and pp'd or trade for a SUPERMICRO AOC-SASLP-MV8 PCI Express x4. Local deals transactions are welcome as well - I'm in North DFW, Texas. I'm new here, but you can review my ebay feedback http://feedback.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewFeedback2&userid=hippyhippy_hippy&ftab=AllFeedback.
  19. i don't see anything in the screenshots for management of other plugins. I'm hoping to have sabnzbd+ and serviio installed in my unraid system as well - will I be able to access and configure these tools as is possible with the standard unraid interface?
