  1. I have a Windows 10 VM that I pinned 6 CPU/HTs. When under strain, it pegs a single CPU while using very little of the others. Where should I start looking to remedy this? Edit. Some pics in reply
  2. Yeah, but I am away from home right now LOL. Either I have to wait til I get home OR I have to depend on the wife actually following some directions LMAO. Not sure which will be harder
  3. Yeah Awesome. I am away from home, saw this and reset my password. Now I can not access my personal server running in Docker. UGH
  4. Yes it is still assessable. I was able to plug in a new External drive and see it under pre-clear and begin the preclear. I know it is not necessary anymore, but I like to run it on externals to find any issues prior to shucking
  5. @JonathanM Should Unassigned Devices not show anything during Parity Sync? I have an SSD I keep in unassigned devices and use as appdata for my plex. Seems to still be working, but can not see the drive on the GUI
  6. @JonathanMThanks for the advice. I will run a full parity check after the sync is complete. I am not in a rush to get this done, would rather it be done with zero issues lol
  7. I appreciate the advice. I shut it down, swapped the drives, and Parity Sync has begun. After it completes, I plan to remove one of the original 4tb drives and upgrade it with the 12tb I just took out and pick up another 14tb while still on sale and replace the other 4tb drive from the original install. Thanks Again Jonathan
  8. I currently have a 14tb and a 12tb for dual parity. I want to upgrade the 12tb to a new 14tb. I have a case with hot swap drive cage. Can I just stop the array, swap the 12tb for the 14tb, assign the new 14tb as a parity drive, then restart the array and let it rebuild? Is it really that simple?
  9. So you moved. Did you get a new router for your service, or use the same router you had in the old house? Reason I ask is that Plex requires an open port (32400) pointed to the server. Also, you can download a program call Advanced IP Scanner. Install and run from any PC on your network and you will see all of the devices within the specified range of IPs. Do you have a static IP assigned to the Unraid server? Router may not see it as it is not using DHCP
  10. Decided to just order a 14tb for 2nd parity drive, was only $10 more than the 12tb. Figure that is the easiest, most straight forward way to achieve what I want, and I get to use both 10tbs in the array
  11. Back Story..... My array currently is ... P=12T D1=4T D2=4T D3=6T D4=10T D5=12T (6T used) Ver 6.9.1 I just ordered 2 new 10T drives. I want to pull the D5 12T out of array, putting a 10T in its place, use the 12T as a 2nd parity, then add the 2nd new 10T Is this possible?
  12. With google home, i believe if your internet goes down, you lose ALL internal network connectivity because the actual routing is done in the cloud. I would dump the google routing and get yourself a router you can control. I believe you could still use the wifi mesh with your own router I personally use a dual wan router I have full control over, and pay for internet service from AT&T and Xfinity to ensure I have internet connection. Also if I disconnect both internet connections, my internal network including my unraid and security cameras is still 100% functional. I believe we as a society are depending on cloud based services WAY too much, and it is getting worse IMO
  13. When you say your network goes down, please explain what you mean. What router and switches are you using? Give us a rundown of your network.
  14. It still crashed after a day or so. Do you think I may be better off removing the Ryzen 3 3200G APU and putting in a newer Ryzen 5 3600?
