  1. I removed a spare drive as well as the GPU 3060TI. Things seem ok now. I probably need a new PSU.
  2. Thank you. Is rebuilding both my only course of action? I'm going to check cabling and maybe get a new PSU. At least going to check cabling and remove the GPU since I don't really need it. I figure it might be drawing too much. Sent from my SM-S918U using Tapatalk
  3. Things have been running well for months now until today when my monthly party check started and I had two disks Red Ball. I think it's strange that 2 would do that at the same time after having no issues so I'm not convinced there is a problem with the drive itself. Can someone smarter than me look and suggest my next course of action?unraid-diagnostics-20240201-0605.zip Sent from my SM-S918U using Tapatalk
  4. That would be in the extra parameters field. But I'm pretty sure my IP got banned for a week so I quit using it. Sent from my SM-S918U using Tapatalk
  5. TLS quit working for me so I added in --tls=false and I was able to connect again. Although I don't want to get banned so I'll probably go back to irssi
  6. This is becoming more trouble than it's worth. I'm back to errors finding libssl.so.3. Even though unraid has OpenSSL 1.1.1 installed on the latest release. Maybe mosh was built with compatibility for an older version of OpenSSL, however, I think that's the LTS of it from 2018 so I don't know. I miss mosh. I ssh into my server everyday and wish it was included.
  7. EDIT 2: Actually I just needed to update mosh on my macbook. The below should work. I'm sure there is an easier way to grab the latest txz from those places but I'm too lazy to look it up right now. EDIT: The below isn't working. I assumed it would and wrote this while I was updating but there seems to be an issue with protobuf. I'll look into it. First I should check to make sure it didn't get included in NerdTools. I'll be back when I get the time. Mosh quit working on me so I looked at the script and the links to the files got updated and the old versions are no longer there. I'll leave in the old commented so you can see. I just had to go to the links minus the file to find the new ones like this: https://slack.conraid.net/repository/slackware64-current/mosh/ https://slack.conraid.net/repository/slackware64-current/protobuf/ #!/bin/bash mkdir -p /mnt/cache/appdata/unraidEXTRA cd /mnt/cache/appdata/unraidEXTRA #20230823#wget https://slack.conraid.net/repository/slackware64-current/mosh/mosh-1.4.0-x86_64-1cf.txz wget https://slack.conraid.net/repository/slackware64-current/mosh/mosh-1.4.0-x86_64-8cf.txz #20230822#wget https://slack.conraid.net/repository/slackware64-current/protobuf/protobuf-21.9-x86_64-1cf.txz wget https://slack.conraid.net/repository/slackware64-current/protobuf/protobuf-24.1-x86_64-1cf.txz installpkg --upgrade *txz
  8. I haven't upgraded or id probably be more help. Sorry
  9. Probably. I'd imagine there are updated versions of the mosh and protobuff packages. You should also check to make sure unraid hasn't included either in the new version of the server.
  10. I can tell you that with terrariamobile I can't use 1.4.4.9 as the variable in the template.
  11. Agreed. I just came here to double check because I marked a solution on a recent post of mine. It has the green checkmark so I'm going to leave it at that since it is in the same place and means the same thing.
  12. I'm about 9 hours away from it finishing and everything is looking good. I think the answer to my topic is "something else" so I'm going to mark the post about power issues as the answer.
  13. I also use Firefox and sometimes have issues. If unRaid GUI seems to be acting wonky and shows that do as JorgeB advised. I usually just switch to Chrome or Safari.
  14. Can you please attach your diagnostics? Tools>Diagnostics>Download If you click on Main and the Array Operation tab what is it showing you there about the Parity Sync?
  15. Thank you. The disk is showing up as normal now other than being rebuilt and the parity sync is running. Hopefully this gets me back to good and I'll come back and mark solved.
  16. unraid-diagnostics-20230427-1148.zip Here it is thank you
  17. Ok thank you. In the process of that now. Do you know if it is actually doing anything while in safe mode? It appears to be doing a parity sync and has thousands of writes to drive 2 and the Parity but it also says that drive 2 is Unmountable and it wants me to format it. I don't know if I should let this parity sync finish and then deal with that disk 2 or not. Thank you very much for the help.
  18. You're right. I said it a different way that is incorrect. I have no more redundancy. What I meant by "no more if another disk fails" is if I lose another drive I am screwed. What would you do in my situation? I feel like you're just kind of beating me up here.
  19. You're asking why I'm stupid? I don't know just am. Also I have dual parity so I still have redundancy. Just no more if another disk fails.
  20. Also could you tell me where you saw this? I'm interested in learning more about finding this stuff but there is a ton in the diagnostics. Is it in the syslog or something? I'd also like to be able to read SMART reports. Probably need to start googling.
  21. Should I go ahead and kill this rebuild and open it up and double check connections and try again? I can also remove several drives not in use which should help power draw and look into getting a PSU since I think the one I have is quite old and might be on its last legs.
  22. Diag attached Recently I had my parity 1 and disk 2 red ball saying there were read errors. Since then I've bought 5 disks to replace them. All of them being refurbs so I was expecting some to be bad anyway but I was going to deal with Amazon and take the hassle to save money. But 4 of the 5 nearly immediately reported read errors when trying to rebuild and red balled themselves. Last night I finally got the server configured with disks that didn't red ball immediately but this morning I look and disks 7 and 15 are throwing thousands of read errors. They didn't red ball though. Maybe because I'm in safe mode? Maybe I shouldn't be doing a data rebuild in safe mode? Can someone look at my diags and help me? I'd really appreciate it. unraid-diagnostics-20230427-0701.zip
  23. Decided to boot back up, stop array, unassigned those two disks, start in maintenance mode, disable Docker and VMs and some userscripts I had, Stop array again, reassign disks back to where they were, and start the array and data/parity rebuild. Fingers crossed.
  24. Before I do something dumb (if I haven't already) I'm stopping to take a breath and ask for help. My server froze up for some reason today and I couldn't get it to do anything so I had to kill power. When it came back up my Parity 1 and Disk 7 were red balled. Now, I don't think anything should be wrong with them so I killed parity check, shut down, reseated everything and checked for anything obvious. I definitely could have bumped something while jostling it around and I have 24 bays with the quick swap release in the front so you never know. I've ran a self test on both of them and they both look fine. Attaching diags but I may have grabbed them too late. What should my next step be? Please and thank you. I'm going to lay down and take some deep breaths. unraid-diagnostics-20230326-1411.zip
  25. Had this issue today 6.11.5. I didn't upgrade but I was trying to add a drive to my array. And yes, using firefox. Working ok in chrome mobile. Firefox needs some lovin!
