Ein Problem ist noch offen: Das Windows-Netzwerk (SMB) läuft noch nicht zwischen den Shares auf dem Unraid-Server und dem Netz der virtuellen Maschine. Das könnte vielleicht an der falschen Verschlüsselung liegen Jedenfalls sehe ich kein SMB Netzwerk und keine Shares auf der VM.

Liebe Freunde des Unraid Servers. Ich bin gerade dabei Windows 11 in einer VM zu installieren. Die Einrichtung ist jetzt auch schon für die Umgehung des TPM-Checks eingerichtet und benötigt auch keinen extra Docker für das Setup. Es muss aber das OVM-TPM Bios ausgewählt werden, da sonst die TPM-Abfrage von Windows 11 zuschlägt. Soweit funktioniert auch die Einrichtung aber es gibt ein Problem, welches in Windows 10 nicht vorkam. Die Auflösung zur Zeit der Installation ist so schlecht, dass die Bedienelemente mit dem Fenster überlagert sind und sich auch mit der TAB-Taste und Enter-Taste nicht aktivieren lässt. Im Bild 2 ist dann jegliche Bedienung per Tastatur oder auch virtueller Tastatur nicht mehr benutzbar. Schade - damit endet die Einrichtung und dann ist dann leider Ende. Gibt es dafür schon ein Work Around? Hattet Ihr auch schon dieses Thema mit der Bildschirmauflösung gehabt?

Duplicati Backup working fine but issues with restore Hello guys, Thank you for this amazing Backup application. I am using the SFTP backup to Strato Hidrive Share. This is working fine and I can see all the encrypted files on my share. Later I tried to setup the restore service, but it confused to find the file on the cloud share. In the first step for connection test is responded wit OK bur in the second step it ended up with an error. For debugging purpose I have been testing with the unraid filezilla docker image to connect to this share and it shows all the files on the remote file system. What causes the restore service from finding the file-sets on the remote file system? I tried with different paramters: (1) /users/$user/Backup (2) /users/$user/Backup/

Bei mir gab es heute auch einen "Unfall": Ich hatte keinen SSH-Zugang mehr zum unraid... OK das lässt sich ja heilen. Also habe ich im Webinterface das Passwort neu gesetzt. Die Folge war, dass er mir den Root User gelöscht hatte bzw. gesagt hatte, dass er den Root User löscht. Ich starte nochmals das Array und sehe nach, was dann passiert. Falls es den User root nicht mehr gibt, bekomme ich diesen dann auch irgendwie in die /etc/passwd ? Ansonsten melde ich mich nochmals.

One further question: I have been add my users to the user group for getting write access with the access of 0775. It should give the writing access for the logged user. I am using NFS for the Network FS. In this forum I recognized NFS is not behaving as usual but needs fill 0777 access? OK, I try to change the access rights: find . -type d -exec chmod 0777 {} \; find . -type f -exec chmod 0666 {} \;
