  1. Getting SSL errors with recent updates resulting in disconnects
  2. Was about to power down the server successfully (interrupting a parity check) and replace the wireguard config folder with the one from backup. Still in the process of getting the tunnel correctly set back up, but marking as solved as I'm now able to access the webgui after doing so. Edit: of course that was not a simple solution as it isn't allowing me to ping ANY added tunnel now... deleted the 'wireguard' folder inside config on the boot drive, hoping this will allow me to use Wireguard again. Edit 2: Lo and behold, this was probably all temporary server issues on Mullvad's side. Tried a completely different location which worked right away. Not sure if there was issue any issue on my end to begin with.... as usual, basically my bad and user error
  3. Just now I had my VPN stop completing handshakes, so I added a new tunnel/server and deleted the original 'wg0' tunnel. Upon doing so, I immediately lost access to the webgui and I was unable to access SSH via PuTTY. I powered down the server by pressing the power button on the case, which was successful in shutting down. I did so hoping a reboot would allow me to regain access to the webgui. Unfortunately that did not work. Certain docker apps are web accessible (but not all, including Plex) which were not tunneled through wg0, but everything else is inaccessible including SSH. I have backup of my flash drive thanks to Unraid's online backup, but I'm not sure where I would access the log file as I know that is normally asked for in these cases. Sorry I'm relatively inexperienced with Linux or cli other than the very basics. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Edit: I'm looking through the flash backup which appears to have a wireguard folder inside the config folder. Would it be possible to shutdown (hopefully successfully) the server again, remove the usb drive to copy the BACKUP wireguard folder to the Unraid usb flash drive and possibly solve my issue? I will try to wait for a response before attempting.
  4. Using '/mnt/cache/Games/' solved my issue of most games not launching and throwing up memory and other errors. Just tested Psychonauts, will try a much more recent game in the future. Thanks @Josh.5 and @ich777 My previous post is here
  5. I'm unable to start most games in my Steam library, they either don't start at all or include an "out of memory" Steam error. I created a Games share and set it to the default directory, otherwise followed instructions. Excited to get this working as I use my GPU (Nvidia GTX 1050 ti) for other containers as well, so currently a VM isn't an option. My CPU is an Intel i3 6100, if that is not powerful enough. Edit: the only game that has worked for me so far has been "The Binding of Isaac," unsure why all others aren't able to launch. Added additional 16gb for 32gb RAM total and still getting same Steam out of memory errors. EDIT 2: Fixed by following:
  6. Thanks for the response ljm42! I actually figured out the issue, which of course was a simple user-error on my part. I was trying to forward ports from my router, when I should have opened a port with my VPN who provides a random number that I entered into the "Local endpoint:" field as "hostname.dynamicdns.org:55555" with 55555 as an example of the provided port. I then removed and updated the tunnel on my mobile device client and voila, handshake successful and active, even when the server is already tunneled to my VPN. This is such an excellent feature. My Unraid trial is expiring soon and I am happy to support its further development. Edit: To clarify, this was setting up a "Remote tunnel access" peer to access services and files on the server, while using a separate "VPN tunneled access" peer for the server's internet access.
  7. I'm in the exact same situation as the previous two posters @Bullerwins and @intoran Successfully set up a "VPN tunneled access" Wireguard connection with a Mullvad server, but no handshake occurs when I create a tunnel to access remotely. I also attempted to remove the Mullvad tunnel and ONLY add the remote access tunnel, and I was unable to handshake from the Wireguard app on my phone. If both are not currently possible could someone please confirm? I'm a novice to Unraid but the forums are excellent for support, which is really appreciated. I currently am subscribed to AT&T fiber which supposedly does not support UPnP, but I think I have correctly forwarded ports. I am attempting to use ZeroTier instead but I don't have any luck when I try accessing a service. Please let me know if there is any information from me that would help, or if anyone has alternatives. Thank you! Edit: I'm running Unraid 6.9.0-rc2, in order to use nvidia-drivers plugin
