  1. I'm seeing this error text at the bottom of my screen with 6.9RC1. Warning: Illegal string offset 'mountpoint' in /usr/local/emhttp/plugins/unassigned.devices/include/lib.php on line 176 nyx-diagnostics-20201210-1433.zip
  2. @dlandon Is there a limitation of which drives actually support spindown? I have a Western Digital easyStore 4TB drive attached via USB and don't seem to be able to get it to spindown. Attached a screenshot and diagnostics. Around today if you need more data. nyx-diagnostics-20201210-0750.zip
  3. Thank you for making this much smoother!! Whole system didn't freak out when a bunch of mount points changed and now there is some migration path.
  4. In my opinion this change should not have been a forced update. There should be a migration path on a share by share basis and perhaps an additional tool to help identify any dependencies that are still pointing at the old share path that need updating. This was sloppy and not called out enough in the release notes.
  5. When you connect manually to your server, what error do you get? Can you screenshot and attach? Also open the Console application and see if you can pull any related logs.
  6. Do you get any errors? Can you connect to your server from another computer?
  7. Is the issue you can't see the server or connect to the server? Can you go to the Finder, click on the "Go" menu, then connect to server. Type on "smb://192.168.1.250" (or whatever the IP of your unRAID server is) and see if it connects?
  8. I haven't been able to replicate your concern. I am on RC2 and have successfully connected and moved/copied files from my 6.9B30 unRAID system without problems.
  9. 6.9 beta 30, settings are attached as a screenshot. AFP is beta 30 is no longer a thing, so it's SMB only.
  10. I’ve used Beta 10 to transfer multiple 1gb (and larger) files to and from my array without issues. I’ve tested this pulling from the cache or from the array, neither has presented issues.
  11. While unRAID themselves to not package drivers with the installation, the unRAID nVidia package installs 450.80.02 (for beta 29/30). I believe it is 440.... for 6.8.3 (stable)
  12. See attached screenshot - I believe this confirms P8 state after Transcoding.
  13. I just updated and confirmed the build works and Plex HW transcoding is functional. Thank you @CHBMB!
  14. I didn't stop to think why the Drobo still worked but unRAID didn't until you poked the "huh" trigger in my head. I checked and the Drobo is still mounting over AFP FS - since I'm on unRAID 6.8.3, I can test this in a bit later as a temporary work around.
  15. I started doing some digging to file a proper bug report (side note Apple updated my ticket and there are more than 10 reports on this issue) and it appears to be a permissions or kernel problem based upon the attached screenshot.
  16. I haven't attempted it, not sure if Fuse is Big Sur compatible either. I'm doing what I need to over SSH, my Drobo is still my primary NAS at the moment, unRAID is running Docker images and VMs for me.
  17. Thank you @xjrguy - I did file a bug report with Apple. Bug number is FB8622248. I am able to connect to my Drobo 5N, just not my unRAID.
  18. I've been using unRAID 6.8.3 flawlessly for several months now and just a heads up with macOS Big Sur Beta 6, I cannot connect to my unRAID box via SMB. I do not have AFP enabled, SMB has been tested with and without "Enhanced macOS interoperability" and no luck. I wouldn't deem this to be an unRAID bug because it works with all other Operating Systems and it worked with Big Sur Beta 5 no problems. If anyone wants to test anything, I'm pretty open to it
  19. @Mattaton - What's the chances that the other machines on the network are getting a DHCP from your DHCP Pool that's also your DNS server? Your unRAID server getting a static DHCP address from the same pool or does it have a static IP address you've manually assigned it? If it's the latter, manually add a DNS A record to your local DNS server with the unRAID IP address so you can resolve it. Then yes whenever you're connected over the VPN, make sure you're passing your DNS requests across the VPN so it'd resolve all your local LAN hostnames.
  20. Is there any way to manually specify the size of an SMB Share? I know this is an odd question, but whenever a Drobo 5N2 (or probably any Drobo for that matter) is mounted, they have it configured to show you 70.3TB as the drive volume, even if you only have 5TB of actual drive space. I'd like to be able to manually specify as my Drobo doesn't change often, but getting actual percent utilized data would be swell. Thanks in advance!
  21. I have noticed that Transmission makes a "complete" and "incomplete" folder in the specified "/downloads" folder on startup (new or restarted). I have "Host Path 2" set as "/mnt/user/media_downloads/" and in settings.json I have the following set: "download-dir": "/downloads/03 Download Complete/", "incomplete-dir": "/downloads/02 Download Incomplete/", I have confirmed the configuration is correct and this should override the need for "complete" and "incomplete" to be created. Ask: Can this be investigated? For now I just made a cronjob that deletes these folders as they are redundant and unnecessary.
  22. I have my APC battery backup setup in unRAID 6.8.3 and life is grand! If power flickers, I can see the System Log: Aug 5 09:40:22 Nyx apcupsd[3735]: Power failure. Aug 5 09:40:25 Nyx apcupsd[3735]: Power is back. UPS running on mains. I have Pushover configured and would love to get those syslog events pushed through Pushover. I have Pushover established and working for Docker updates and Parity checks. I have confirmed that under Settings > Notification Settings that Notices, Warnings, and Alerts are all set to "Browser" and "Agents" but I haven't seen anything display in my browser (Chrome or Safari) or through Pushover. Any ideas? nyx-diagnostics-20200805-1245.zip
  23. Thank you very much @saarg!! Worked like a charm!
