Cannot access unassigned device
That is really odd, it was sent to "Yes" before. Not sure how that changed. That fixed the problem of not being able to access the drive, however, when I now go into the device, it shows 6.5TB are used, but none of the files are being displayed in either Unraid or Windows!

Thanks. I have attached the diagnostics file.... phoenix-diagnostics-20230313-1044.zip

Cannot access unassigned device
I have an external 8GB hard drive installed on my server as an unassigned device. in the last few days, I noticed that Windows no longer can connect to it, "Windows cannot access \\Phoenix\wsd8td9y|". In Unraid, when I try to view the contents of the disk, I am not able to. If I try to unmount the disk, it does not unmount. I have no idea what is going on. How do I fix this? Everything was working fine before.

[Support] ich777 - Application Dockers
Great. Thanks. It says it creates Incremental backups, so I guess it does both?

Ok. Thanks again.

Ok, thanks. I was thinking the same thing. Can you recommend another tool that will do what I want?

[Support] ich777 - Application Dockers
Just read in the manual "luckyBackup copies over only the changes you've made to the source directory and nothing more. Whatever changes you make to the source including adding, moving, deleting, modifying files / directories etc, will have the same effect to the destination." This is not what I want. I want to be able to retain incremental copies of new/changed files. So I don't think it is doing incremental backups in the normal way of incremental backups (keeping the incremental backups in separate folders, distinct from the full backup). It seems to me, that it is actually writing over the full backup that already exists with files that have been changed since the last backup. Am I understanding this correctly?

Ok, thanks. I appreciate your help very much.

I didn't realize that LuckyBackup only did incremental backups. I just couldn't find any way to configure the time interval for the incremental backups. Sorry, I am new to this. Thanks for the link to the manual.

I had the drive configured as R/W. I just changed it to R/W Slave. Thanks for pointing that out.

The drive is NTFS. I just want to backup some of my data on my unraid server to an external USB hard drive that is connected to unraid, via unassigned devices, as an extra level of security.

I cannot find any way to do incremental backups in LuckyBackup. Am I wrong? Is there a way to do this?

[Support] ich777 - Application Dockers
Hi. I just figured that out. I had to add a new path for /mnt/disks/. After I did that it is working. Thanks. Now I am trying to figure out how to do incremental backups. Is there a way to do this in this app?

I am having problems using LuckyBackup with an external USB hardrive. The external drive is mounted on the Unraid server and I can view the share on my PC. However, when I try to run the backup using luckyBackup, it says "Destination directory: /mnt/disks/WSD8TD9Y/Backup is not mounted. This task will be skipped." How do I get it to backup my data to this external drive?

Date and time incorrectly shown
It would be really beneficial to be able to see the current date and time on the Main or Dashboard pages, if possible, instead of only on the Settings page.
-
Date and time incorrectly shown
Thank you. That fixed it. I guess I thought just having the Use NTP turned on, that it was actually using an NTP. Haven't seen this in any Unraid setup video that I have ever watched.

Date and time incorrectly shown
Since upgrading to vs. 6.11 the time is not displaying correctly. I have checked the date and time in the bios and it is correct there, but not in Unraid. NTP is turned on. How do I correct it? At the time of writing this it is Fri 07 Oct 2022, 07:04 AM PDT.

[Plugin] Nvidia-Driver
Good to know. Thanks. Cheapest T400 I can find is $191 on Amazon.

[Plugin] Nvidia-Driver
Ok, Thanks. I was just looking at current pricing for a new T400 and they have gone up considerably in price. Was thinking if I could use something a bit cheaper, maybe a GT 1030, which I can get for $130CAD?

[Plugin] Nvidia-Driver
What graphics card would you recommend for VMs? Would another T400 work for this, or is there something better?
-
[Plugin] Nvidia-Driver
Oh, I didn't know I could use the T400 with an x4 slot. the x4 is a full PCIe 16, so I would be able to physically add another T400. So then I would use the PCIe 16 x16 as the card for the vm and be able ot run the vm and Plex concurrently, if I need to (though not likely)?
-
[Plugin] Nvidia-Driver
Thanks. I am using a Nvidia T400, but I only have one 16x slot available in my MB (the other PCIe is only x4), so I don't think I can add another one.

[Plugin] Nvidia-Driver
Thank you for your response. I don't have another video card and my CPU does not have integrated graphics (Ryzen 7 5700X). So do I understand correctly that I can still use the video card for a VM as long as I don't use it concurrently with Plex? If so, that was my plan all along anyway, so that would be great.
-
[Plugin] Nvidia-Driver
Ok, that makes sense. But then I guess the vm would have to be always on, or I would have to turn it on every time I want to use Plex. I was hoping I wouldn't have to do that.

[Plugin] Nvidia-Driver
I am really new to all this, but my understanding about the use of this plugin is to enable transcoding of movies/videos when using apps like Plex. If I only have one video card in my Unraid server, how can I use it for both Plex and VMs? As I understand it, this plugin can only be used for Plex, but not if I want to use the same video card for a vm. If I want to create a VM, do I need to pass through the video card to it in order to see the VM? If so, what do I need to do to be able to use the video card for both Plex and VMs (though I don't think I would be running the vm and Plex at the same time)? Sorry, if this seems like a really silly question, Like I said I am really new to all this stuff. Any help is greatly appreciated.
