  1. Getting a Fatal error when scanning BD+ title. It's not on every disc, but so far I have 2 that it keeps doing that. Anyone have any tips?
  2. No worries. I did get it fixed. I had my Plex container setup wrong. Thanks!
  3. Got docker setup and running. Problem is that it won't run the report. I see this error in the log file. /usr/lib/ruby/2.3.0/net/http.rb:882:in `rescue in block in connect': Failed to open TCP connection to 192.168.73.3:32400 (Host is unreachable - connect(2) for "192.168.73.3" port 32400) (Errno::EHOSTUNREACH) Any ideas?
  4. Switched the drives to the new controller. Here is the updated diagnostics files. thor-diagnostics-20181201-1314.zip
  5. Weird thing is that I have been using those ports for about 2 years. I just received a new LSI controller that I am going to put into the server and change the drives to use that one.
  6. I will try that. These are the only 2 drives connected to the Marvell Controller on the motherboard.
  7. This weekend I had the server become unresponsive. I had to do a hard reset. Ever since then, I cannot get past the parity check. It's showing errors on parity drive and disk 1. Currently I am running it in safe mode to see what happens during parity check. But it's over 200 million errors. Any thoughts? thor-diagnostics-20181129-1959.zip
  8. Man I got hit with this. Scared the crap out of me to find a fix since nothing would start up after this update. Fixed it now.
  9. Wow! Great price! I have this board and highly recommend it.
  10. Funny, same thing for me. Changed nothing. edit: don't know why, but the error is gone and everything is working again
  11. Sweet! Curious how you get the other Ethernet connections to show up on the dashboard. Mine only shows 1 and it's the one connected. @BigWorm Sorry for the late reply. The only thing I have done is going into the BIOS and configuring the North Bridge to allow VT-d. I haven't tried booting up unRAID with this option turned off. I am running Unraid 6.1.9 Well crap. I enabled VT-d but it messes up the Marvell controller and unraid can't seen anything connected to those ports. At the moment I am using 2 of them.

  13. Same for me. No matter what I try I keep getting this error.
  14. For about $40 more I would go with this RAM. It will take you from 16GB to 64GB. http://www.ebay.com/itm/201380486027?_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT I'm not sure I need 64GB. I don't have plans to run too many VMs. This would mainly be a PLEX build. But I guess now that ram can transcode, it wouldn't be too bad? What do you mean RAM can transcode? You mean have Plex transcode to RAM instead of your disk? I’m pretty sure that feature was removed a few months back and no longer works. Get the extra RAM anyway. Got it. Thinking about going with this RAM instead (as I really don't think I need 64GB) http://www.ebay.com/itm/32GB-8-x-4GB-PC3-10600R-DDR3-1333-ECC-Reg-Dell-PowerEdge-R910-Memory-RAM-/191665900546?hash=item2ca02d8c02:g:g4IAAOSwyQtV0mRH Any thoughts? I realize this one isn't low voltage but I figured I wouldn't need LRDIMM if I'm not adding more than 32GB. For as cheap as this RAM is, the more the better no matter what. But this 32GB might be the sweet spot.

  16. I have the exact same board. You do NOT have to connect the dedicated IPMI port to your router/switch. BTW, the dedicated IPMI port is the one above the USB ports. However, I've found that the dedicated port is nice because if a VM or a docker completely goes berserk and you lose ethernet, the dedicated port is unaffected so you can still get in and power cycle the computer. There is a menu in the bios settings that is all about the settings for the IPMI functionality. I think it might be labeled "BMC settings." That's where you can assign an IP address to access your IPMI features. So glad to hear someone else w/ same board. I cannot make heads of tails on how to connect the HDD Light and Power Light, etc. The JF1 does not show + and - symbols like the connectors for my case. Any chance you could take a close photo of this? I have Googled and no luck w/ this. The only ones labeled are Power and Reset. Thank you! H. The manual had it labeled. Thank you BigWorm.... but are you sure that is for the Supermicro motherboard? I could not find that page/diagram in the manual. Oh man sorry. For some reason I thought you where asking about the Asrock board.

  18. are those the Xi4 coolers? will ram fit in the first slots adjacent to the cooler or are they hampered by the cooler? They are NH-U12DX i4. Ram would fit in the first slots.
  19. Just installed the NH-U12DXi4. 2 of them. Only 1 fan each at the moment. Pretty tall is one thing I would say. The heat pipes stick out. I put them in a Lian Li PC-D8000 and they actually hit the center divider. I for sure thought it would clear it.
  20. Trust me, really thinking hard of contacting the seller and buying another 64GB RAM as long as they can match the ones I have already.
  21. total spent? I already had the power supply just setting there. The rest is roughly about $750. I originally was looking at spending about $500. But I think the extra $250 is way worth it.
  22. Should be a fun weekend project. ASRock EP2C602-4L/D16 2 - E5-2670 2 - Noctua's NH-U12DX i4 64GB RAM
  23. Yes that one works. Also here is good memory deal. http://www.ebay.com/itm/201380486027?_trksid=p2060353.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT
