Hello , today i receive the Broadcom 9300-16i SATA / SAS HBA Controller IT-Mode 12Gb PCIe x8 LSI , with IT mode for Unraid accordingly to seller from ebay. Now i have doubt regarding power, the board is just powered by the PCI slot ? Or i have to connect 6 pin cable to power it? My motherboard is a Gigabyte Z390 UD. On the attached image, i guess it´s a power socket?

No , i don´t have.... But the 8 disks are all full with movies .... if i add them again it won´t show up the movies ? The share are the same. Imagine , i have a share named movies with 1000 movies with 2 disks. 500 movies per disk . If i take back one disk , it will show only 500 movies, later , if i add the other disk again , it will show the 1000 again? The disks were not formated,, they just not connected because of the faulty old SAS board. So , to put it up the server again, when i boot it, it show it , the missing disks, i have to perform new config , without erasing the others disks. I guess when the new SAS arrive, i stop the array , shutdown server, connect the disks , and add it again...

Hello , My SAS delivery his soul to the creator , now i´m waiting a new one... My server have 14 disks , so , i have to put aside 8 disks , and create new config with 6 disks. I have a share with movies, the library now is incomplete( it only shows the movies from the 6 disks) until the new SAS arrive, when it arrive i will recover all the movies on the other 8 disks , right? i just have to add to the array pool again , and everything will be ok?

Hello, Yesterday after a reboot of the server, one of my disks of the array , don´t let assigned again on the array . It appear to sign it , but when i try it , it doesn´t work , and the only option is format . I only have movies on these disk , it´s a 16tb disk , before i format, do i have a chance to see the content ? I just wabt to know what movies are, to download it again. I found the main cause, , i was making some maintenance on the case , and somehow i touch on the power cable of these disk , which provocate a reboot... Thw weird thing, is if try to assigned it ( first photo), the disk appear on the list, after i try iy, it won´t assigned anb dissapear from the list ( second photo), Only if i reboot again , it will show on the list. Photos attached. Is there a way to show the content? Or after the format i have a way to ( with software ) not to recover , but to see the content? thanks

How ? If i want to have only one share for movies , and now i have 6 shares for movies, one per disk... They are not empty... My goal is one share for movies with all disks included on it , without deleting the content of 6 disks to perform it...

Hello, I have 6 disks of 12 tb on my server . Each one have 2 folders (Movie + Music) . So wrongly i create 6 shares of movie ( movie 1 , movie 2 , movie 3 ... movie 6) and 6 shares of music( music 1 , music 2... music 6 ) . I want to create only one share for movies and one for music, and assign all 6 disks to this 2 shares. I don´t want to erase/format the disks to do it... So i can´t eliminate the 12 shares( music+movies ) without format all the 6 disks??! Which is the easy way ? Buy a new disk , and start from here, use this new one to create copys and create one single share for music and other for movies?

Hello , I add a new drive to my pool . Format on XFS, and is empty but shows 96gb used?!!??? Is a 14tb drive. Is something wrong , that i´m not figure out??!!

The problem is the IP to put on the subnet on custom br0. I don´t know which one. When i had the server connected directly to the router was very simple to put the IP on custom br0 , i only had to put almost the tower ip and the last two digits i choose accordingly with the dockers i had... Now it doesn´t work in that way....

Now i can make the dockers work if i don´t choose the network type " Custom br0". If i choose bridge everything is ok. I always choose custom br0, and always works, could be the server is no more connected to the router??!!

Last night i had to move my server from bedroom to office. So in my bedroom the server was directly connected to the router, and have a Ip address 192.168.... When i start the server in my office , (it´s connected to a RJ45 plug on the wall, swich on ATI to send gigabyte signals to all divisions), all of my dockers won´t run gave Execution error, server error( image attached), i guess it´s the IP was change it, and the dockers have the old IP... The tower also dissapeared from my network explorer on windows, if i right on the address tab \\tower , tower folder open. The new ip of tower on my bedroom is very of course different than the one i had on router directly connection. I try the workaround of stop docker, delete docker img, start again, add container , put the new fixed ip on docker, apply, the execution error disapeared , but the docker don´t run , the state is "start", but the webUI won´t open( image attached). I ´m loosing my mind with all of this!! Sorry for the long post.
