@Maggi0r can you please elaborate on how you fixed this error?  I'm stuck with the same problem... what folder did you remove, what else did you do?  Thanks!

I think she deleted the whole folder in appdata.  Then when you restart the container, it will basically redownload everything.  I was getting a similar issue when I upgraded to Nextcloud 20 and that seemed to help me.

Can you try to enable privileged mode just to see if this help?

Thanks for responding.  I just now saw your reply.  I tried it with privileged mode both on and off, but still the same thing.  It was working fine when I first installed it.

  3. Hi all.  I tried to restore my xml from a backup and am now getting this error when booting VM:  operation failed: unable to find any master var store for loader: /usr/share/qemu/ovmf-x64/OVMF_CODE-pure-efi.fd

    Any ideas?

I found the problem and solved it myself.
I deleted the folder in appdata once with rmv and then restarted the Docker after which it ran.

    Regards Maggi

Glad to hear it Maggi.  I just now saw your post.  Glad you figured it out.  I don't think I would have.  Great work!

    Hi everyone,

Just a quick update for those of you who are still trying to install ChromeOS/PrimeOS. After a lot of trial and error, I was able to successfully install PrimeOS on Unraid 6.8.3.

I used the ChromeOS template, using Machine type Q35-4.2, OVMF Bios and SATA for all storage. Also, the only version I was able to install was PrimeOS Classic v0.4.5. NOTE: I wasn't able to get the the Mainline and Standard ISOs to work, only the Classic version.

Also,  to install PrimeOS, I had to use the Advanced->AutoUpdate option in Grub once the VM boots from the ISO.

Once you install PrimeOS, in order to get PrimeOS to use Ethernet instead of Wifi, go to Settings->PrimeOS Settings and enable "Show connection type WiFi to apps"

    Enjoy!

I did this, but everytime I restart the VM, it's like I've never ran it.  I have to reregister and download all of my apps again.  Do you experience this as well?

  6. Hi all.  I recently upgraded my server.  All new hardware.  New cache pool.  I backed up old appdata and restored on new cache drive.  All of my dockers are working except for this one.  I can not access the webui at all.  I get this recurring error in the log file.

/usr/local/openvpn_as/scripts/openvpnas: No such file or directory

I changed the mnt/user to mnt/cache as suggested in a previous post but still not working.  It was working perfectly before I migrated everything to the new server.

I actually have gotten my onlyoffice instance working, apologies for net getting sooner my email client was not getting notifications. Within NginxProxyManager I setup a duckdns entry named  SOMETHINGoffice.duckdns.org and forwarded the port to Host Port 1 on my onlyoffice docker image. Within NginxProxyManager I set the scheme to be http however setting all the SSL requirements to enabled and no advanced options. Finally within nextcloud I set my onlyoffice to go to https://SOMETHINGoffice.duckdns.org and that has gotten my instance to work.

Make sure with every change you restart nginx proxy manager, nextcloud, and onlyoffice.

    Great!  Thanks for sharing!

I am using NGINX Proxy manager, so I do not see any specific cert files, only .pem files.

I've never used that docker before.  I would assume they would have to be in there somewhere though.  I know it is not the .pem files though.  They will be specifically cert.crt and cert.key .

I know it is an old thread. But, @livingonline8, thank you very much for the method you explained. I finally could install onlyoffice with nextcloud.

    I have two questions though:

    1. I copied certs from letsencrypt to onlyoffice/Data/certs folder. But what will happen when the certs expire? Should not it be integrated to letsencrypt docker somehow? Will it suffice to create two symbolic links to the LE certs in folder letsencrypt/keys?

    2. In the onlyoffice.subdomain.com file, proxy pass directive is using port 443. Isn't it 4430? We use 443 for letsencrypt docker.

    Thanks.

Good question about #1.  Idk to be honest.  This was the only way I could get it to work.   Worst case, maybe we update the certs ever so often.  I've never had a problem yet.

For #2, no I use 443 on mine and it works fine.  Container port is the same for both dockers.

Updating the docker is not updating nextcloud itself. Login with an admin account and go to the settings >>> overview ("Übersicht" in my case on the left side) and you should see your current version and a hint if a newer version is available. From there you can start the update/upgrade process

I had always thought we were supposed to update an application outside of the docker. Thank you!

What mobo do you plan to use for it? I looked for any info on TRX4 mobos compatibility with unraid, iommu, etc. No info yet :(

I'm thinking about ordering  a ASRock Fatal1ty X399 Professional Gaming.  Admittedly, I do not know the compatibility of this mobo either, although I suspect that anything relatively new should be ok.

Wondering if you found a good 4U option? As of now I have a coolermaster Ml360 tr4 on the way that I will have to slightly mod the case for and would rather not if I don't have to. Also an aio is not my most favorite option in a 24/7 server in a rack that I don't look at often due to possible failure but...not a lot of options I have found.

Well, I haven't pulled the trigger yet on the threadripper because I keep thinking prices will come down any day now.  But when I do, I plan on getting this fan https://noctua.at/en/nh-u9-tr4-sp3

Seems like my only option at this point...  I agree on the AIO, I just don't think the reliability factor is there.

I think a lot depends on how the locking is achieved!  If it is tied to the hardware in some way then there may well be problems transferring the license to a physical machine.

What MIGHT work is to install in into a VM and then move the VM to another machine (rather than a physical machine) so that the emulated hardware remains constant.    Do you know if there is an option to uninstall the software in preparation for moving the license to another machine?   If so you could test this out.

Very good thoughts.  Thank you.  So basically put it on a VM in unraid and then maybe move it to a VM on my laptop?  I may try that.  I looked in to moving the license and I can only do that if I get there support involved which will presumably only last  a year or so.

  14. Hi all.  I am in a interesting situation and I am wondering if a VM would help me?  I have about to acquire some rather expensive software.  The license is locked to the PC it is installed on.  Therefore I would like to hang on to this software and the machine it is licensed to for as long as I can.  Do you think if I installed it on a VM  that I would be able to convert that VM to a physical machine and keep my licensing?  I just hate to install this on a laptop or something, then a couple years down the line have a hard drive crash or lose the laptop and have to repurchase the software or a license.  Any experience with something like this would be appreciated.

    Thank you.

Not sure where you read about the U9 not suitable for WX chips.

Based on the reviews I read (e.g. below), it's entirely sufficient i.e. it didn't thermal throttle with 2990WX load.

    https://www.phoronix.com/scan.php?page=article&item=amd-2990wx-cooling&num=5

You won't be able to overclock (which perhaps was how the "not suitable for WX" conclusion came about) but then you shouldn't be overclocking Unraid.

About water cooling: the only water-cooling you can trust is one that you build yourself.

Otherwise, avoiding hoohahs like the Enermax gunk problem is more or less hope-and-pray.

And even without a major issue, AIO performance will degrade more over time (compared to air cooling) due to unavoidable liquid lost.

Admittedly, the info about the U9 and WX chips I read in reviews both on web sites and youtube where the reviewer just stated they were not suitable for WX chips.  But provided no real world info to confirm this.  This is great thing to know that they will indeed work!  I was not planning on overclocking at all anyway.  I was more interested in just having the extra cores.

@bastlYou are right!  I will wait until the new gen chips are introduced.  I think they are supposed to have more comprehensive information as early as tomorrow and I can easily wait a few more weeks if I have to.
