  1. From the back of my mind: I can remember something like that too. Specially with VC1 encoded Disks that get transcoded, I got a Notficiation the the image was full. But it was random as hell and only came back when trying to download movies to the iPhone. So you are not alone
  2. As an update: I stil have some "old" VC1 encoded Blu Rays in Plex and played them on a TV where they needed transcoding. The result was, that nothing went wrong or hasn't worked. So the Initial problem stil exists
  3. Thanks for the reply, I was busy during the day. I have the feeling I'm using a different Plex Docker build 'cause mine doesn't look remotely like yours. These are all the mounts I've been running But just as a note, that I remembered now: Whenever I do transcoding, in this case it runs purely on the cpu side of things, I do not get the Issue with the filling up of the image. Funny enough
  4. I can relate to the Notifications/Mails thing, I get them too. and when it fills up
  5. Thanks for the reply: It is set to /tmp. And as far as I know, it does transcode in RAM. What makes me question all of that is just the fact that when I try to download a movie onto my phone in ORIGINAL quality I get warnings from unraid that my vdisk fills up but only with large movies, with smaller ones it does work. but even if's using RAM I've only got 32GB of Ram, so why does it work sometimes and sometimes not? If you catch my drift, so to speak.
  6. So, I don't know If this is the right Thread for it but it was quite similar to the issue, I am having currently. Whenever I try to download a movie to one of my devices, i.e iPhone or something similiar, the VDisk Image on which the docker for plex runs, fills up. Completely. paralell to that, the download fails too. The VDisk Image Size is 60GB, so when I try to download a movie with 45Gb in Size, it works. If I try to download a movie with 80GB, for example, it fills up the image, spits out warnings without an end in sight and then, when the vdisk has returned to normal size, the download has crashed. Has anyone encountered something similar like that?
  7. It's kinda funny that I get this answer in a random conversation in a thread about MSSQL, than in a official conversation about bitwarden but I guess, sometimes u do not even see your hand right in front you - Thank you:) And yes, UnRaid is pretty much open as it gets. Which is a blessing and a course.
  8. Reading this, I get the feeling I need to do everything in the Terminal of Unraid, right? Lile I get the whole picture but I somewhat do not understand where to put all of this? *InsertHeadscratching* I always thought Unraid is a purly U can only install what there is OS, not something I can go deeper with if you get what I mean.
  9. So basically, All I have to do is compose my bitwarden docker and get it to run and do not tinker with any MSSQL Installation, given that Bitwarden does install that itself, right?
  10. But speaking of putting in the work: I'm not stupid, like I can handle my fair share of work. But, how did you all got Bitwarden to run on Unraid? Like with docker Compose in a docker, or on a VM or how did you do it? Because, for me, I cannot get it setup or find a way to do it for me, that in one way or another works. Like I'd like to not run a VM but then, how does Bitwarden run on a system it's not supporting? I'm a bit out of my "I know what to do" zone here so if anyone as a starting point, I'd be more than gratefull for it. Maybe I am just thinking to comlicated again but yeah, that's the state. Thanks
  11. When I came acroos this thread and begun to read it, I came across your comment to and it made sense to me, I've kept that in mind ever since. I'm gonna put some more work and then I'll come back if nothing works. Kappa thank you and Cheers
  12. Is anyone, who was previously interacting with this thread, stil on this? I'm in the process of seting up Bitwarden on UnRaid and I'm not quite sure *how* to do it properly. Given this thread had a lot of the same crosspoints, It may makes sense to ask?:D Also: Do I really need to run a MSSQL Databse for Bitwarden or is it doing it by itself? Thanks in advance
  13. I'm quite curious what u guys' typical read/write is on your Cache, given what u've running on it. I've only got Plex running and get 250kb/s to 750kb/s writes every few seconds, something less sometimes more. I'm completely fine with it, As said, I'm just curious if that is normal or what u'd say to this. Cheers and thanks in advance
  14. Okay, that was scary but it worked: I selected my cache drives and unassigned them, then proceeded to delete my cache and then re-added a pool named cache. Added the drives back, then they showed up as "new" which gave me a heart attack but after starting the array, it all worked as before and without issues. I don't what happend but that was one scary moment.
  15. So here we go. Again. I have no clue why it does it now or why it shows this kind of behavior but I restarted my server and now my Cache shows up as "Devices disabled, Contents emulated". I'm pretty sure it shouldn't be like that and also, beofre the restart, it wasn't like that. So does anyone have an idea what causes this? server-diagnostics-20220924-1609.zip
  16. I'll take a look at what u ppl have suggested. Though it's quite fun to see how many replied in such short notice But I'm actually realizing, as said here before, that setting up a new share and letting it use the cache as a storage location is the most usable. That said, I've got a couple Samsung SSD's laying around that I can use for a second pool, so probably gonna use them
  17. Thank you! Sometimes it's a bit overwhelming what u can do
  18. The Idea behind it is simple: I want my larger media (Movies, TV Shows etc.) on the HDD array and my smaller ones (music and photos) on a secondary, non cache, ssd pool. That's why I asked, in the first place, how you tell the plex docker container where to look for them. I however admit, that my first post was written a bit to complicated :')
  19. Hi, I need help with setting up additional paths for data access for the Plex docker container, i.e one is for data on hdd's, one for data on ssd's etc. Cause I couldn't really figure out how to do so on my own Thanks
  20. So, I'm back. And this time with good news: It worked. Without one single issue. So thank you for that and now onto the details haha. I used the SeaChest Software and booted from a USB stick on my PC and did every drive one by one, one after the other. Luckily they were only four so it didn't took that long. After that, I booted the Server back up and upgraded to 6.10.3, which in between crashed my Cache drives but that has been fixed by now too. Fun Fact: While googling more about said topic, I came across the Synology Forums and it turns out, they have/had the same issues. 8 and 10 TB drives weren't been read properly, didn't even showed up - the whole nine yards basically. It all came down to the EPC feature set, Seagate is using from it's Enterprise drives on their Ironwolf drives. It is so new most Software can't really work with that on the consumer side of things and, that's the core issue, most Software developers aren't fixing it. Synology did it from their side after a ton of reports on their forums, deactivated the EPC as a whole, just as we did here manualy. So it's basically a Software side issue, that needs work from them. Anyway, that's it. This guide was immensely helpful, a big big Thank You to you for your work and this whole Thread, it did really saved my bacon. Thanks
  21. Well. U saved me from a lot of work and lost data, Holy. A big big Thank you It came back, as it was before, works now completely fine and etc. THANK YOU!
  22. I finally did the upgrade to 6.10.3 but now my cache drives aren't mountin anymore, desplaying the error that the pool config is invalid. Anynone got an Idea how to fix this? server-diagnostics-20220914-1857.zip
  23. That, being automated, it goes to sleep at night when nobody uses it and wakes up in the morning, ready to be uses again. A shutdown, on the other hand, would reqiure typing in the Encryption phrase everysingle time again so that's not practical to/for me. Dynamix S3 Sleep Plugin with a custom wake up command. Works completely fine when it does and also does not harm anything. Yeah it's a desktop MB, it worked with sleep even before it became my server. So it wasn't that hard for me
  24. Yeah the MB is over 10 Years old, there aren't any updates anymore. Haha. But jokes aside, I think that too. Since the UPS is connected thru USB it won't sleep anymore the way it did before. It was setup to sleep between midnight to 10am in the morning, so it does not burn energy throughout the night when nobody is using it. That's why I got it setup to sleep in the first place, since the UPS got connected it doesn't do it anymore. A complete shutdown is actually not what I have in mind with all of that.
  25. I deactivated everything I could find but it still boots right up after clicking "Sleep". It goes down and seconds after it goes up again. I don't get it why it is happening tbh Specially not bc on wall power it works without issues and with the UPS connected, sleep is impossible.
