  1. Backup your appdata and your flash drive. I would have if you'd been bothered to write a plugin to do it earlier. I do now use CA to backup everything. OP might want to look at that...... Want to hear a funny story I was looking at it prior to rebooting the system and I actually had CA backup installed. I was thinking, should I, or shouldn't I? Sweet I got all my shares up and running now I have to mount the disk with all my docker containers and docker configurations on them. Thanks.
  2. Let me see if I got this straight I select the proper Parity drive and assign it. I do the same to the cache drives. And I mount all the disks via Unassigned Devices plugin, or just mount them in Unraid like I normally would? Before I start the Array I check off "Parity is Already Valid". Start array. I'm not sure what role exactly the Unassigned devices plugin plays here, is it just to check what is contained on the drives so I select the right one? However since I have an up to date list of the array devices, I can just proceed to assign all the drives to the array?
  3. So when I select the right parity drive, it tells me that all the data will be erased when the array is started.
  4. This one? https://github.com/dlandon/unassigned.devices/raw/master/unassigned.devices.plg
  5. Managed to grab these before upgrade.. I was removing a couple old HDDs that were no longer in use.
  6. I upgraded from 6.2.2 to 6.2.4 this morning, after reboot the server wouldn't boot. Looked in the BIOS and yup flash drive is not being detected. Plugged the drive into Windoze OS and it doesn't even power on. I have a second Unraid Key with a separate/other flash drive, however how to I boot this properly or mount drives as not to overwrite current array data? Also note worthy I do not have a backup of the old Flash drive.
  7. Yes. This is what I switched to and it has been working well so far. My Unraid box's processor is apparently too old for a Libreelec VM but the pi seems like an acceptable alternative. The advantage of a pi or VM over the headless variant (as was mentioned earlier in the thread) is the ability to easily adjust your scrapers, settings for those scrapers, etc. That is probably possible with the headless version as well but I wouldn't call it easy. I used to run a scraper on the Pi and it wasn't very reliable, it would crash if two update requests came in at the same time.
  8. I already tried that, I even changed it in the XML template in dockerMan folder on the flash drive. Blew away the user template, removed the container and image and started from scratch several times. Strange. I updated my last post with a question about your unRAID version. I'm using 6.2 and it looks like you're using either 6.0 or 6.1, so maybe it's an issue with one of those versions. Wow when I updated to 6.2.1, all my containers that previously reported "up-to-date" all of a sudden said "update ready". Having said that it's still not working. Getting... ls: write error: Broken pipe And still getting binding failed

  11. Click edit on the Teamspeak docker and change the Repository to: linuxserver/gsm-ts3:unraid It works fine in both host mode and bridged mode. If you want bridged mode forward these ports: UDP 9987 TCP 10011 TCP 30033 TCP 41114 Thanks for that, I'm still getting an error though. I made sure I checked for updates as well. 2016-10-27 03:24:31.861993|ERROR |FileManager | |bind failed on :::30033; reason: Address family not supported by protocol 2016-10-27 03:24:31.862028|CRITICAL|VirtualSvrMgr | |Could not start file manager 258 no network port available This is the output from; docker logs -f <container-id> tail: cannot open 'ts3server_2016-10-27__03_39_00.063439_0.log' for reading: No such file or directory tail: cannot open 'ts3server_2016-10-27__03_38_56.159691_0.log' for reading: No such file or directory [ OK ] Starting ts3-server: TeamSpeak 3 Server tail: cannot open 'ts3server_2016-10-27__03_39_03.973868_0.log' for reading: No such file or directory tail: cannot open 'ts3server_2016-10-27__03_39_00.063439_0.log' for reading: No such file or directory [ OK ] Starting ts3-server: TeamSpeak 3 Server tail: cannot open 'ts3server_2016-10-27__03_39_07.875871_0.log' for reading: No such file or directory tail: cannot open 'ts3server_2016-10-27__03_39_03.973868_0.log' for reading: No such file or directory [ OK ] Starting ts3-server: TeamSpeak 3 Server tail: cannot open 'ts3server_2016-10-27__03_39_11.777463_0.log' for reading: No such file or directory tail: cannot open 'ts3server_2016-10-27__03_39_07.875871_0.log' for reading: No such file or directory Those files exist in the docker logs directory and have the read attribute set. 12. Wow you guys are really condescending. I just performed some testing running the latest version of the Linuxserver.io docker container and Indeed your container does not work properly in Unraid 6, doesn't matter if you run in Bridged or Host mode. I've done some testing and it's in fact broken. It's still trying to bind ports to an ipv6 address. 2016-10-26 21:07:39.826425|INFO |ServerLibPriv | |TeamSpeak 3 Server 3.0.13.5 (2016-10-24 11:53:53) 2016-10-26 21:07:39.826525|INFO |ServerLibPriv | |SystemInformation: Linux 4.1.18-unRAID #1 SMP PREEMPT Thu Mar 3 13:08:41 PST 2016 x86_64 Binary: 64bit 2016-10-26 21:07:39.827242|INFO |DatabaseQuery | |dbPlugin name: SQLite3 plugin, Version 3, (c)TeamSpeak Systems GmbH 2016-10-26 21:07:39.827280|INFO |DatabaseQuery | |dbPlugin version: 3.11.1 2016-10-26 21:07:39.827448|INFO |DatabaseQuery | |checking database integrity (may take a while) 2016-10-26 21:07:39.835827|WARNING |Accounting | |Unable to find valid license key, falling back to limited functionality 2016-10-26 21:07:41.018240|INFO | | |Puzzle precompute time: 638 2016-10-26 21:07:41.019646|ERROR |FileManager | |bind failed on :::30033; reason: Address family not supported by protocol 2016-10-26 21:07:41.019681|CRITICAL|VirtualSvrMgr | |Could not start file manager 258 no network port available How do we force the tag, or rather how do we force the docker to run the Unraid 6 version? 13. Nice, I got the Norco 24 drive case.
  14. @MyKroFt Thanks, I'll try it out.
  15. I never do it, but I do have at any given time at least 2 hot spares in the array. If you are adding a drive to an array and you have no hot spares I would highly recommend it. But it is not necessary.
  16. I just had a drive failure, luckily I have a bunch of hot spares. Array is rebuilding at the moment. Question is there any was to identify the drive in the array. Generally SAN/NAS devices have the option to blink the drive LED continuously, does Unraid6 have this option? Thanks.
  17. No idea, post how you've got your container folder mappings set up and I'll take a look later tonight when I get home from work... FYI, I just installed it via your template, didn't mess with any other settings that was mentioned in this article: https://pydio.com/en/docs/kb/system/configuring-public-link-pydio-6 plz help me take a look at it volume mapping: http://i.imgur.com/oTazQ6x.png Share Settings in Pydio: http://i.imgur.com/HCqVGaf.png OK, I've never used Pydio and tbh I will not be using Pydio as I have no need for it. We support the container not the underlying application, so I probably won't be able to take this any further than this post. But your share settings in Pydio should not be set as /mnt/user/Pydio/public as in the container there is no /mnt/user/Pydio because it is a mapped folder and you have mapped it to /data Following this logic /mnt/user/Pydio/public should be /data/public. Always remember Linux is case sensitive too. I figured it out, your comment helped. Ty What I found out was there was no 'public' folder inside the 'data' folder, I had to manually create both the 'public' folder and .htaccess file, and edit it per Pydio documentation here https://pydio.com/en/docs/kb/system/configuring-public-link-pydio-6 sharing is working good now. However, i sometimes get "database is locked" error message, i'm using sqlite3, might switch up to mysql later on. I created both and my container is still unable to share files and documents. Still saying that there is no .htaccess file. Did you have to verify rewrite module?
  18. I just installed Pydio to replace BTSync Free. However after setting it up and pointing Pydio /data folder to the old BTSync directory Pydio can not see the files. Any ideas? EDIT: I figured it out, it's Pydio's folder structure. /data/personal/<userID>/ This is where everything is stored.
  19. Yes via the Remote tab. Not sure if it works properly but I'll try it. What app are you using? Yatse?
  20. How do I manually invoke an update command in the Kodi Docker?
  21. Looks like an issue with docker, specifically the dockercontainer.img It seems if you have a corrupt container this will pop up in your ssh session to the server. I had to blow out the old img and create a new one and re build all my docker containers.
  22. +1 to the ISCSI LUN support. There are so many use cases ISCSI LUN support, I could go on about use cases for hours. The biggest problem with Network shares is caching it is not done properly or rather not as well as what LUNs are capable of. Then you run into issues of compatibility across platforms. With an ISCSI LUN there are no compatibility issues, also LUNs look like a native drive on the guest OS. +10000000 to ISCSI support.
  23. Sparklyballs' is now a member of linuxserver.io and the version he wrote here is deprecated, his new linuxserver.io version is what you're after. Cheers baby. Let this be noted as the first time that this bald man in his late thirties has been called baby..... He he, just my appreciation for the prompt reply.
