  1. How does one delete a vpn tunnel set up under the wiregaurd plugin. I can remove the peer, but not the tunnel??
  2. Nevermind LOL. I added them to the wrong user group. 😛
  3. Question, not really an issue with the plex server docker. (right now i'm using the default one, not sure what the difference is between binhex and the regular one), but just a quick question. Is there a way to make it so when someone logs into their plex client to not see other users? See attached. And Binhex, I really do love your dockers (im new to this and you make it easy)!!
  4. O.k. that sounds good. On the market it goes. Thanks for the info.
  5. I have an old ProLiant server that has two processors and 32gb of ram. Was wondering how hard it would be to make that a dedicated plex server and have it communicate with my main array where all of my drives are at? I'm still very new to all of this and not sure if this would be a very difficult undertaking or if I should just sell it. :)
  6. I'm trying to set up Swag on my unraid server and having a beast of a time doing so. Back story. I had a bunch of dockers set up and configured including Nginx Proxy Manager Official. For the most part, it was working. Then I found a feature I wanted and it was in SWAG. I removed Nginx and installed Swag and went through the setup process and filled in the blanks. When I go to open the web ui, i get a page stating; This site can’t be reached 192.168.68.139 refused to connect. Try: Checking the connection Checking the proxy and the firewall ERR_CONNECTION_REFUSED What I did then was removed all my dockers, deleted the app_data for all the dockers and started fresh (I think), I put in Swag and still the same thing. Here is the log from the docker. 7. I'm wondering if I have a proxy setup with Swag for access on nextcloud and still able to use the myserver for remote access? I tried a little bit ago and when i go to the myserver setting to get a certificate, it kept failing. I turned everything off with the nig proxy and was able to us it, but then everything kind of broke lol. (i deleted all my dockers and starting over, i just set everything up so really haven't gotten to far with it).
  8. Not even sure where to start with this or even how to really search. What I am trying to do is the ability to upload a file via next cloud through an external drive set up to one of my unraid shares. Then after it is there, is there something that can automate the move from that share to a different share. Example. Wife is a photographer and I have the Archived share set in next cloud to read only so she can't accidentally delete everything!! I want her to be able to upload via next share to an unraid "upload" share. Then have every thing that was uploaded to that share moved to her archived share so it is read only. hope this makes sense.
  9. Think I found my answer. The dockers use the memory when they are running. The more dockers I have the more memory is taken up. Found you can turn on advanced in the docker tab and shows you the cpu process and memory each one is using. Interesting. I know I want to max out my board (32gig). But 16 will have to do to start with.
  10. I do have 16GB of ram on order. The last pair did not work, system wouldn't boot with it.
  11. I'm wondering if there is a good way to flush unused memory or find out what is using up memory?? And if it is possible to have what ever is sucking up memory to use SSD instead?

    Radarr and Qbit

I think I have this figured out!! Found a post Squid posted a bit ago on folder mapping which helped out a ton on understanding how the docker folders are mapped. And now I think I have them talked with each other like it should. Thanks for the help.

    Radarr and Qbit

I had my server ip for the local host with the port. I think I found the issue. I ended up switching over to deluge. It was something with the directories. Also I was setting up my trackers through the usenet template and not the torrent template lol. So I have that part working. Now need to figure out why it's not writing to my media folder for Plex. LOL.

    Radarr and Qbit

I don't think so. I do the check in Radarr and everything checks out o.k. I'm using the local host. I might break it down and start over again on it and follow invader's video again. Having Qbit going through OpenVPN wouldn't cause any issues would it?

    Radarr and Qbit

Was wondering if anyone might know what would cause radarr to not send commands to qbittorrent to download? Right now, I have movies sitting in the “queued” area and not doing anything. Let me know what I do Simone might need to help figure this out. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. Will do. Thanks . I must say though, I do love unRaid. Still on a trial, but will be buying that's for sure.. Glad I went this route and not FreeNAS.
  17. You know... I think I found the issue. I had a drive I just put in and forgot to mount/format it to add to the array and I think it was getting hung up trying to a parity check on it because it wasn't part of anything yet???? I took that drive out and boom. Everything starting to spin back up.
  18. I have notice my procesors been stuck at 100% on a couple of cores. I stopped all my dockers and noticed that didn't drop it. That's when I noticed my parity drive was going through a parity check and was at 0%. The read is at about 100 KB/sec and dropping. I've rebooted the server a few times and it does not fix it. I've searched far and wide and can't find any topic on this. Any thoughts? I'm new to this server stuff and at a loss. I've been working on moving data over to my drives the past couple days and almost done.
  19. I'm a full fledge NOOB at this stuff. I have an external hard drive hooked up and currently moving the contents over and was hoping to use the drive in my array when done. However, I noticed that in the dashboard it gives me a yellow thumbs down (error) under SMART. I attempted to read the log for it and from what the attributes say, it's o.k. and not near fail. I go down and see where it shows the errors and have no idea what these are. Does that mean this drive is starting to fail or just something goofy happening? New builder

Hey all. Like my header states, I'm a new builder. I've built a couple PC's about 15 to 20 years ago and forgot half the stuff and have messed a little with Ubuntu about the same time ago. I'm building a NAS for a few different reasons and I'm on the fence. I am hoping for an un-biased opinion if possible. The usage of my NAS is going to house my PLEX server and storage for my wife, who is a photographer. I want her to be able to access her data while on the network and via remote if she is out and about (she likes her coffee and likes to edit in a coffee shop). I don't want the read/write to be painful for her since these files can be kind of large. I also want to be able to have a back up of my media files and her photos in case the main drives fail. So here is where I'm on the fence. I have been looking at TrueNAS Core and one of my company's network engineers mentioned unraid. Well here I am. One thing I like about reading up on TruNAS was it's suppose to be fast in regards to read/write. I heard it tends to be a pain for new people and that their community can be quite harsh. Also that in a vdev, if one drive fails you can replace it, but if 2 fail at one time, you loose everything. To be honest, I don't know a ton about unraid. Thoughts on this?
